As the pirates nerd that I am, I figured I'd share with my fellow pirates fans that the History Channel is actually putting out a special detailing the true pirates of the carribbean from back in the day-- they did some little promo for it when I was at the movie theater the other day. It looked really cool-- any pirates fans in the same boat I am (pun intended ... )??
No History Channel?! I'm a history nerd, some might so say, so I have a tendency to tune into the History Channel quite a bit. But I thought it was interesting that they were promoting it in the movie theater-- they're obviously going to attract a larger audience than the usual history buffs like myself that tune in to the channel as it is-- I'm sure they are going to appeal to the Pirates Of The Caribbean fans as well...
