I can't believe "skippy" from family ties tried out... and didn't make it.
I MEAN SKIPPY?

The "Willy Wonka" guy, Chris Porter is going to the house! I was happy. I thought he did well. I was also jazzed that Josh Blue got into the house as well. How cool was it that he got a standing ovation??
I like that dude a lot, he looks like a character. I tend not to hang my hat on a comic until I see how deep their material is. Hopefully he's not a one joke wonder. I like his chances though.
HECK! said this in post #9 : It's going to be interesting on the next batch who go to the house.
I gurantee that Gabriel Iglesias and Bill Dywer make it in.
-HECK!
Damn HECK...youre good. Both of them made it. Gabriel was funny and he deserved to be one of the chosen...I found a few others that I thought should not have been standing there.
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

I agree Mystic. There were quite a few in that line that I didn't think deserved the spot. My fave this round was Gabriel Iglesias. He was great!!! I'm not really sure I liked anyone else that got in but him and Ty.
I mentioned it before, but I met Gabriel Iglesias and Carlos Mencia a few months apart about four years ago. Then they both had specials on Comedy Central, then of course Mencia blew up. I was surprised to see Iglesias go this route, but maybe this is his chance to shine.
As for Dwyer, I've just seen him on Comedy Central so much, standup and hosting that robot battle show, I knew he was a lock to make it.
THAT'S where I've seen Bil Dwyer before! Thank you. I told my husband that I knew I'd seen him somewhere and that it wasn't on a comedy show. I didn't know that G.I already had a spot on Comedy Central. I'm still with Chris Porter all the way and might I say that I am so very very glad that Stella the Preggo is GONE GONE GONE!
Her act on stage for the showdown was sad and snoozeworthy...bleh!
Yeah Invisible, I'm glad Hosanne is gone too. She was entirely unfunny. I didn't even crack a smile. Not even on accident, like if something funny happened next to the TV.
Porter made a strong start, hopefully he can keep it up. Will people be intimidated or is winning first immunity like a target on their back?
