I still think that Heller will come into play somehow. Why else keep him alive. He heard the recording, maybe he can bluff out the president somehow. Who knows. He almost resigned and killed himself in less than five hours, dude seems open to suggestion.
I think maybe Logan will get into Air Force One to fly to washington, and the sub will fire a missle at him and kill him. Otherwise, the whole letting the guy escape and the Syntox gas thing coming back into play would really be for nothing.
If anything, maybe the sub hits that compound where the pres is?
The ad tells me that Jack catches up with Logan, but perhaps it's clever editing.
What can Jack do though? Shoot him? Make him admit it? He has no evidence, except Audrey and Heller heard it, but without proof it's meaningless. Maybe with Pierce and the First Lady in the mix? That's five people involved, including his wife.
Again, with Logan's predecessor (for the most part) assasinated last season, I don't think they'll go that route again. Hope he has a bigger target that just anywhere in Los Angeles. Seems like the left coast is always about to get blowns up.

I'm a little nervous, they normally end 24 kind of badly, instead of the upbeat happy ending other shows get.
But so many good people have died already, short of Jack dying, which is impossible, the man is immortal, I don't see what else can go wrong. We might lose Chloe, or the President, but whatever.

I think Gabo and Heck! been knowing the chinese would show up this whole season, but it still came as a minor shock.
Man, Jack puts in a full days work, takes out the president, stops gas attacks, gives a small girl mall victim his own gas mask, prevents sub missles from wiping out major targets, snaps Bierkos neck with his legs with some fancy martial arts,
and what does he get in return? A royal *** beating from some Chinese thugs, who are torturing him day in, day out on a slow boat to China.

Just when he takes out President Weiner, Jack finds himself on the slow boat to Shanghai getting face kicked while he's begging to die. Fan-fiddly-damn-tastic. Curses you plot twist we've been waiting for all season and finally forgot about but when you showed yourself we weren't really all too surprised!
Does anyone else think Morris was the most important character this whole season? I like him better than Chloe times ten.
Kind of saw Jack's treachery, figured once they were in that hangar it was over. At least Pierce is okay.
All in all, a damn good season. I was hooked from minute one and it was non-stop. Good deal, it's going to be a long wait to January.
The Chinese showing up wasn't much of a shock. I like the thought of Bauer being tortured day and night for a year and a half or whatever, but its a bit of a downer. Just a bit...

Well, it's been a nice ride.... a good 21 weeks. Guess it'll be January before we hear from Jack again. See everyone then *waves bye bye*
