I'm starting up this thread so that we can talk about all of the puzzles, whether through websites, or the phone numbers, that will help us all unwrap the mystery of the island.... LOST!
Okay, I went to the first website: www.sublymonal.com and unlocked the code.
Then, there was one spot to click on, which you can't actually see, but by moving your mouse around, it's apparent. Then, it takes you to the second link.
I'm STILL thinking, for some damn reason that Alvar Hanso is the same guy who is Locke's "father" in the flashbacks. It just looks like him. I've thought that since I first saw him, and I still think that. Anyone else? Also, in the picture of him, it says that it was taken in Oct 2003... yet, his bio said that he "made his mark" during WWII. He doesn't look THAT old, in 2003, to have been around during that era.
Okay, so back to the boards. What is that code for? And why does that first board take you to the second?

On the page: Executive Bios.... when you're looking at Dr. Thomas Werner Mittelwerk, there is a 'bubble' of sorts, that allows you to type in something. I tried the code, but it did nothing. Anyone else know?

Okay... on the Hanso website, under "Joop's Corner" there is a message, in the top right corner. It's got a picture of a strand of dna. The message is about the lifespan of chimps, and that their (Hanso) Life-Extension Program will someday help human beings achieve unusual life spans beyond the current norm.
Soooooo, maybe they HAVE achieved this, to some extent! Alvar doesn't look THAT old, so I'm thinking that they've found something that works.

Is the entire island a "test" for the Life-Extension program, in different ways? Testing them on strength and endurance? Stress? Capability to survive through extreme situations? Measuring all these things, and watching over the people on the island?

Active Projects... one is sticking out to me. Mental Health Appeal.
Hanso wants people who are mentally ill to not only heal, but realize that they were robbed of their potential due to this sickness.
So, as I'm reading that, I got to thinking.... what about Hurley, and Libby. Is one of the experiments, on the island, to help heal those with mental illness, and have them realize what their potential could have been? Did Libby realize her potential, since coming to the island... to counsil, and help others... and since realizing that, she was able to "leave"
Is it possible that these current projects can fit each of the survivors into one, or more, of the categories, and that is why they ended up on the island? Why they survived... when others on the plane didn't?

I noticed at the beginning of the Hanso Foundation commercial in the 5/15/06 episode there was a Sprite trademark. I went to www.sprite.com and found a link that shows "Status locked" and indicates it will be unlocked 5/15/06. Maybe that is where you can type the Code: Heir Apparent message.

Ok...after finding the code, i thought - hey there must be something i can do with it! so thank god for google! i googled the code! and heres the link i found... watch the left hand corner carefully!
