Okay, the previews for next week showed the 'others' in their disguises, again.... and it looked like we were finally going to see some action. It also looks like one of them is talking to Michael, after he's been captured. Was he captured though, or was is to make the group think that he was? And he was told that Walt was outside...
Oh, and then we see the group, on the beach, and Claire makes a comment like... "OMG" and it ends.
I think that this is going to be an important episode... and since there are only two weeks left for the season, I think that this, and the last, will be bang up eps.

Aight, watched it in slow motion, and it looks like all the scenes where Mike is with the others, are probably flashback scenes of what happened to him while looking for his SON.
Some highlights:
1. Crazy *** Zeke with his ZZ Top beard, has a sling and slamo's Mike with it.
2. One of the others, injects Mike with something, most likely the same junk that Desmond was taking, and that they were putting into Claire.
3. The lady tells Mike that Walt is standing right outside the tent.
4. Sayid tells Jack that Mike has been comprimised. This would back into future events.
Shoot, maybe everyone else picked that up right away, but the way they did the preview, it looked like all the stuff happening to Mike was during the upcoming attack of Jack and crew. But they never show anyone else with the others, just Mike.
Also, I hate having to spell out Micheal every time, so I went with Mike. Easier on me.
Yeah, I saw that too. Maybe some kind of gigantic mirrow comes out of the island, or... who knows.
My first thought was something wrong with the sun, then I thought that maybe the button don't get pressed and whatever happens is so intense, it lights up the Island. Our Electromagnetic Incident in action.
Lawless said this in post #10 : That's what they want to do... play with you, and make you unsure of what you've seen.
I totally agree with you Lawless. I was gonna start another thread but I thought I should just leave my comment here.
As a huge fan of LOST from the beginning, I am getting disappointed with where the story lines are going. It seems the producers and writers are now focusing less on the storyline (juicy plots and cliffhangers) and are more into turning this hit show into a game for viewers. Well too much info and not enough info is getting me more frustrated with each new episode.
I liked that we are now getting closer to the finale and the ultimate cliffhanger, but I'm beginning to doubt that most of our questions will be answered anytime soon .
Each episode seems to add more mystery on top of the mystery of the island. The fake websites, the tie-in books, the clues, the numbers, the flashbacks, dreams, reality etc. etc. This is all gonna me a patient in some psyche ward soon if I try to keep up with all the marketing, propaganda and everything they are throwing at us!
I'm just gonna watch it now with an open mind and hope that the answers satisfy me in the end. I've given up trying to unlock the mysteries of this show.
Well, most successful shows go a good five years, some seven years.
I don't know the plan, or the story arc they have, but I would bet it's based on something in the five year range. So, they will keep asking big questions, and slowly answer them, but there will always be bigger questions, more side characters coming and going, more mystery, till they finally wrap it up.
They did this with Twin Peaks, then by the time they gave some answers, no one cared anymore. But Lost is keeping viewers into the second season.
I treat Lost like I treat Star Trek, even bad star trek is still better than nothing. I just enjoy watching it, even if it's on a character I don't really care for, like Shannon or Claire.
I think my favorite character right now, is MR. Ekko. Followed by Locke, then Desmond. Then Sawyer, then Sun, then Kate, then Hurley and so on.
I'm not giving up on Lost. Come on... when you're reading a good book, do you really want all of the answers before it's time? It's part of a MYSTERY! Sure, it's nice finding things out... but, I love watching it all unravel, and learning more and more. I'm not giving up on this show, as I've heard some of my friends state. One of them said that if they don't give more answers, she's going to stop. Another said, if they kill off Sayid, she's going to stop. I'm not leaving behind one of the best shows ever.
