Just a note to start off, I am NOT an Elvis fan. Not one bit. So I am a bit aprehensive about tonight, but I have faith that Taylor will be amazing. All four contestants are very talented, and you have to give that to them.
I had an awesome time in chat during the show with Lawless, Whizzle and Mel, so I was still happy when my show time came around. Even with a kid with a tummy ache, I managed to get in just over 200 votes for Taylor.
TAYLOR comes out in a burgandy suit singing "Jail House Rock". He's working the crowd and doing a fantastic job. This season, no one can top Taylor's stage presence. The man was born to be on a stage. MMMMM love that growl. Yes, I wish I was there, but I would be giggling like a school girl. I loved his hair tonight, and he rocked this song. NOTE that he lost his ear piece and never missed a note or a beat. Listen to Paula's big "woooo" at the end of the song.
Damon booed the screen again this week when Simon called it "Karaoke with a capital K".

Note the Soul Patrol shout outs.
Tommy THANK YOU for changing the key on the songs this week. AI has no clue on how to drop a key to the right one for the contestants. ALL of them improved because of it.
Chris Again, thank you Tommy for picking the right key! It made a big difference. I actually liked his vocal sound on this song. The sunglasses were very lame, but I thought this was one of his better vocals in the competition on "suspicious minds".
Yes Kris is at home fanning herself. We hear Taylor wears boxer-briefs too. There are even some SP member's who started a fund and raised some serious $$$ for a new couch for Taylor. Not me, I'm po.

Elliott "If I could dream". It's a new song for him, but his vibrato is getting annoying to me. Darn it because I really like him. Something about it, maybe it is the fact that it is there all the time and oh so fast. I hate fast vibrato's.

Kat singing "hound dog/all shook up". Tommy raves about her vocal range. What a bad outfit. Bleck. Personally, this was the most Karaoke performance of the night. She tried some lame Elvis moves and forgot some of the lyrics. At this point, you can not forget the lyrics.

Nikki score (yep little sister woke up, so she saw this one performance)
TAYLOR singing "In the Ghetto". One of the few Elvis songs that I actually can like. Tommy gave great advice. Taylor is normally so energetic that when you watch him you don't get how great his vocals are. I love that he is wearing leather, black leather. *THUD
What? Where am I ? Oh yeah Taylor is singing. This is a hard song for me because I hear Cartman singing it in my head. Well, Taylor knocked that fat boy away! He was soulful and did an awesome rendition of this song! Who knew he could hit those high notes and hit them that well? WOOOO! It was the best of the night. Even Simon had to compliment him.
Damon score He fell asleep during the commercial before Taylor took the stage.
Chris "A Little Less Conversation". LOVE that he is using his baritone voice for this. Very nice. Great song for him, he does have knack of being able to pick the right song for him. Just when I loved it, he did that big pushing screetch at the end. Bleck. Oh well, still he did a great job for the night.
Elliott -"Trouble' The vocals were awesome, but this song did not fit him. It was like Donny Osmond trying to sing a bad ass song. I didn't buy it with his sweet face. This song would have been better suited to Chris or Taylor. mmm imagine that Taylor growl on this song. *fans self
Now Ryan's comment about giving Paula a dollar after her dancing was so freaking tacky. I was glad that Simon stood up for her.
Kat "Can't Help Falling In Love". Bad song choice. This is an Elvis classic. Can she do it without going for the camera instead of using her voice? Nope. She had zero emoting on the song. She completely oversang the song, and it was the worst song of the night.
So who should go? Kat McCheesy
Who might? Elliott
Best of the night Taylor's "In The Ghetto"
