This game is awesome! It's similar to GTA, however set in 1930's New York. In the beginning of the game, the Godfather and his croonies kill your father, while you watch. Then you're allowed to create your gangster, and the story goes on to 9 years later. You join the Corleone family and you start with some training missions, then you're on your own.
The best part of the game is being able to extort business. Go into a baker's or a butcher's or a newspaper shop, and beat them up until they agree to pay you protection money. You get missions, just like in GTA, and they get progressively harder as the game goes on... but it begins pretty darn simple.
Highly recommend this game for lovers of Grand Theft Auto
