Hour 17, 24 season five. Airs 4/10/06 post #1  quote:

Woah. That was some crazy stuff.

Lets call the cops, so they can kill off the government rouges, and the government rouges can kill them, meanwhile we will escape!

That is fregin low dollar.

Poor bank dude bought the farm. I wonder what happened to the woman and her kid in the Motel 8? I figure that Robo Cop killed them.

Funny how last week I hated the Vice Pres, and this week, he is a hero. He wants to pin a medal on Jack Bauer. I bet he will get to, after Jack takes Logan to the carpet for being involved in the Palmer assasination.

Awesome episode. The army dudes showing up and shooting at the guys who were shooting at the cops was awesome. Jack and Palmer II got away, which is good. The bank-guy copping it wasn't surprising. Problem is, Palmer's gonna be in trouble for that one. I mean, Jack'll be cool, he's already on the lamb in a manner of speaking... Mini Palmer's a pretty famous bloke though, the bank-guy's wife's gonna realize who took her husband.

I realized how the whole thing worked in this episode. President Jurkuff planned the nerve toxin to be taken by the Russians and sent to their camp to get prematurely detonated. I think the rest of it was out of his control until Ro-Uber-Jack-Bocop got brought into the picture. No matter how it played out, though, Pres is going down.

I'll bet anyone that Heller cops it because Jack gets him the evidence, though.

Does anyone think Heller might be in on it?

Or could the Pres cap Heller?

It seems like things are going too easy so far, as it where. Sure, Robocop has Audrey cornered as far as previews go and Jack might do the self-liss thing once again and give himself up, but it all seems too easy. I think it goes deeper. It has too. Therefore, I say Heller is in on it. Or gets capped. Or I don't know. Eat lunch.

Heller being in on it is a pretty darn good theory. Kind of seems likely, now...

But, in the end, there's no doubt he'll choose his daughter over protecting the president or whatever these people are all too scared of... Heller, for one, was a dick for not talking when Jack shot his wife in the leg, and that dude who hung himself towards the start was a wimp too, for not just giving the president up... stuff that, President Weenie isn't even worth protecting.

Do you mean when Jack shot Robocop's wife in the leg? Regardless, that was a dick move, even if he is working for the president.

Jack needs to get Agent Pierce to try and get the VP on their side, start an internal struggle of some sort.

Yeah, didn't mean Heller, meant robocop... wtf's his name? Henderson? Some crap like that. That dude's gonna be taken down by Jack like he was a 2 dollar hooker.

Jack does need to get Pierce to subdue the Pwesident. Pierce is already onto the Pwesident's BS. I think enough people know about who was responsible for the day's events to stop any chance of a cover-up.

The problem is... how do you take the president out of office? Can he be arrested? From what I remember, the President needs to be impeached before he can be even arrested... and impeachments don't happen no matter how obvious... <please don't try to draw any parallels between the His Mighty Excellence, the President of the United States, and this fictional hack. Thank you ~Whizzle>

I think Jack's gonna end up having to put a bullet in Pres's head. He needs to disappear to avoid the Chinese anyway.

If he gets busted by the end, the Pres would just resign. I don't know if Jack will cap him.

And are we even worried about the nerve gas anymore? What's the deal on that?

I don't know, CTU was covered with that stuff, then they all move in like nothing happened, use the bathroom, take lunch, etc.

Just a few back, Edgar died on the floor in convulsive fits. Er, hobbit guy did, Edgar just sank like a sack of Potato's.

Now they all just hang around like the place is back to normal.

Everyone from CTU is gone... I think they're all Homeland security people now. It was just Chloe sticking around, plus those red-clad Imperial Guard guys who always come through the doors when you know someone's going to be "taken into custard-y".

They got all the nerve gas back.

I don't think Logan's gonna resign. He's not going to get away with it, that's one thing I can guarantee... I can see him either committing suicide or getting shot by his wife.

she can claim insanity... everyone thinks she's nuts anyway.

the previews show logan saying "mrs. logan has been taken care of" what does THAT MEAN! I say her and Aaron cap logan and skip along hand in hand into the sunset. with bauer covering them with his ak-47.

Will Logan take out his wife? Dude is dasterdly.

Also, do we know for sure that Jack didn't give Henderson a bogus recording somehow? I can't imagine Jack sacrificing Audrey for the tape. He's let people die plenty of times before. Hope he's not turning soft.

The head chick at CTU now looks like she is smelling something but her assistant is a jackball and will ruin it somehow. The sexual harrassment chick is lame.

I hope Logan doesn't 'take care of' his wife. I can't see him killing her, unless he has to. If he has to, I don't think he'd think twice about it. Unfortunately if, say, Aaron Pierece, Mrs. Logan, the dude who killed himself near the start of the season, and a bunch of others all turn up dead in one day... looks kinda suspicious... did he ever even think of that?
