Director: John Lasseter
Stars: Owen Wilson, Paul Newman, Cheech Marin (Full Cast)
Studio: Buena Vista Pictures
The Plot: En route to a big race, a hot-shot stock-car known as Lightning McQueen (Wilson) gets waylaid in the town of Radiator Springs. During his idle time, McQueen befriends some locals who help him begin to realize that there might be more important things in life than fame and fortune.
THE BUZZ: Pixar hasn't given us much to go on yet in regards to their latest project (their last with Disney), as the two trailers have been little teases. John Lasseter is back behind the camera - his first writer-director gig since Toy Story 2. No wonder Pixar Animation Studios chief Steve Jobs is gushing. Something feels off here, however; maybe it's the inanimate-made-active nature of the film, which could work better with toys than cars.

I love animated movies like this, it has adult humor. This one looks great, can't wait to see it!
"I'm looking for love. Real love. Ridiculous, inconvenient, consuming, can't-live-without-each-other love." - Carrie Bradshaw
"The danger of an adventure is worth a thousand days of ease and comfort" - Paulo Coehlo

I like these cartoons... when I see them, which isn't all too often. I know I'll like them, I always do, but I never see them in the theater or rent them for some reason. I finally saw The Incredibles a few months ago after waking up on the couch and someone was already watching it.
Still want to see Shrek 2. And the one with the funny squirell or whatever that says "dyna-mee-tay" insteand of dynamite. Excellent.
Shrek 2 was better than Shrek 1 in my opinion. My daughter LOVES Shrek 2, much more than the first one.
Hoodwinked is the movie you're referring to, I think. "Dee-na-mee-tay!" That was hilarious, and also when the turtles get spooked by something. One of them screams, "RUN!!", and they take off with a burst of turtley slowness. Funny!
I was actually lucky enough to get a sneak peek of this film 2 weeks ago and can I just say...wow. It was incredible- the characters were lovable, the animation was stunning, there was a little something funny at the end-- it was just wonderful.
Shrek 2 was pretty hilarious. That cat was comedy. I don't know if it was funnier than the first one, but i think it does give it a run for its money.
That scene where they're like in "cops" sorta and they find the cat nip on the cat and he says "that's not mine" I CRACKED UP.

Oh- I guess I am just pushing to see it on the big screen- b/c the animation is just too stellar to miss out on -- it's one of those films you have to see in the theater at least once. Believe it or not, I am going again this weekend to take people who didn't get a sneak preview.
Pixar Pixar Pixar Pixar Pixar Pixar Pixar Pixar Pixar! Wooo, yay . Though some reviews I've read say it isn't as good as other Pixar films, it's still meant to be really really good . So should be great. The animations meant to be brilliant!
On the subject of Shrek 2, tis awesome. The fairy Godmother and Puss are great, but Donkey still rocks
"It's just something Gandalf said, "Don't you lose him Samwise Gamgee", and I don't mean to."
