THE BUZZ: DANGER! DANGER! BRETT RATNER ALERT!
Strangely enough, director Bryan Singer left the franchise to take over Superman Returns from ... Brett Ratner. The switch has seemed to work for the Man of Steel, but there's no indication of X3's progress at this time. We'll acknowledge the fact that Ratner is a complete comic book geek, as he waxed poetic on the X-Men legacy before filming began, and it'd take a hack of extraorindary powers to muff up the rise of Phoenix. But we're still left with some questions. Is this cast too unwieldy? Does anyone aside from Halle Berry want Storm to have a bigger part in this movie?

It shows Wolverine and Storm coming under fire. Then Colossus comes over and we finally see the Fastball Special! Wolverine sails through the air and all of a sudden a Sentinel head flies at them and Wolverine comes up behind it. Cool!
