The Name of the Game
George begins to overstay his welcome at Burke's apartment; Meredith learns a secret about her father; Bailey worries her colleagues will not treat her the same now that she's a mother; and Alex gets a lesson in bedside manners.
From the previews we learned that Meredith has a sister and that her father comes to the hospital. I wonder why? Is he trying to rebond with her, or is he sick? If he was sick, that would explain Mer's sister being there.
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
Poor Meredith. That was so sad for her to learn about her dad having two other daughters, and one of them is a med student. She did find out that her mom kept Thatcher away, and I loved that even after all that has happened to them that George helped her out when she needed it, and he didn't have to do it. Still loving Denny and Izzy. He is just adorable.

'Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
So her dad knows about Ellis's condition now...think he will visit? Think he will be allowed to visit, or do you think that Ellis or Mer will push him away?
