Post Russian Communist leader sees U.S. behind bird flu outbreak post #1  quote:

MOSCOW - Russian Communist party leader Gennady Zyuganov has blamed the United States for the spread of avian influenza, or bird flu, in a number of European countries, including Russia.

"The forms of warfare are changing. It's strange that not a single duck has yet died in America - they are all dying in Russia and European countries. This makes one seriously wonder why," Zyuganov said at a press conference at the Interfax main office on Tuesday.

Zyuganov said that he has good knowledge of war gases as he dealt with them during his army service.

"I tested all kinds of war gases at a range myself," he said.

Asked to be more precise as to whether he believes the bird flu outbreak could be a deliberate attack by the U.S., Zyuganov answered positively.

"I not only suggest this, I know very well how this can be arranged. There is nothing strange here," he said.

Talk about paranoia. Yeah, the U.S. wants to eliminate Russia's pigeon and duck population so they don't fight against us in WW3. If there was some sinister plan the U.S. would use something that targeted humans?

This is obvioulsy a crazy statement but it is the mindset that a lot of the older people have I am not saying that all Russians think like thie because they don't but there is amongst the older generation a distrust of America and possibly amongst some older Americans a distrust of Russia. Do you think the end of the cold war meant an end to the way some people felt.

I agree. I still see hatred from people serving from WW2, Korea and Vietnam. I see a little of it from our latest batch of veterans too.
I spend quite a bit of time at a veterans facility and speak with a lot of veterans from all 3 wars. It runs pretty deep when they have their commrads and friends blown up next to them. My opinion is that the tramatic experience never really leaves them and it is their release.

for some odd reason, while the word "Ganya" was still just a thought-dropping in my head, I thought it'd only be four letters. But apparently it's five. yep.

Well I will give you China but Russia nah they don't pose a significant threat anymore. You only have to look at the Eatern european countries that have abanodoned Russia to join the EU with Ukraine being the most recent, plus Russia have thier hands full in Chechnya. I admit that they are a permenant member of the security council and a member of the G8 but these are based on past power not present.

I think C.A.T.S are responsible for the bird flu pandemic. Here's why:

Here is an excerpt from a confidential memorandum explaining it all-

Garfield Sylvester president for the Society of Cats came of with a plan to eliminate the worlds population of birds by spreading propaganda that birds are vessels carrying bacteria and viruses dangerous for mankind.

In a secret dossier found recently, it has been proven that Bird Flu as we know it is just a way for CATS to exercise their superiority over birds and human-kind alike. ( You know how sneaky those felines are....) Not getting the respect or attention the CATS have joined forces to overthrow the government in USA and Europe. This will lead to the destruction or systematic genocide of birds worldwide.

Once this plan is complete, their next target is said to be RODENTS, followed by FISH!

Those CATS are sneaky little bastards indeed!

Foghorn Leghorn,
President of A.F.O.W.L ( Against Felines Of World Leadership)

Reading the above article, it looks like this is some fringe party Communist, that is stirring the pot, trying to get party votes.

Like when the minority party leader in our country tries to stir up junk on the President. Outside of the mainstream, but playing to their base.

The Russians did the same thing in Africa about AIDS. They know most educated people will dismiss these allegations but in developing nations with large uneducated populations it is used to fan anti-american sentiment. Many in Africa still blame the USA for the aids epidemic.

It is alarming to me, though not surprising, that our government does not at least make a formal complaint to the Russians regarding this propaganda. You can bet the accusation will get headlines in those nations being hard hit by avian flu.

This isn't a joking matter.

I have a feeling the USSR will rise again, in some way, shape or form.

Russia has as many nukes as we do, that is reason enough to be wary.
