It was a pitiful game and neither team looked like they belonged there.

Seahawks QB throwing interceptions and wide receivers dropping the ball or no where in the area. Come on you know the Steelers took out the Bengals QB Carson Palmer with a dirty kick in his leg that put him out for the season.

Then the Colts get a holding call and their kicker who never misses a field goal kicks one to Alaska. pHOOEY!!!!

It was a pretty boring first half!!! I was bored, to death.

But, the second half started, and the Steelers were actually on the field, and it got better.

Whether the call for the touch down by Rothenburg was overturned, or not... moot point. Steelers would have still won, by four.

They deserved the win... and I was so glad to see Jerome Bettis get a super bowl ring.

all i got to say is MVP should go to the referee cause steelers won because of the bad calls.... but im still glad bettis got his ring, even though they didnt even have to play that hard, having the referees on there side.

It's funny you say that Tekster. A buddy of mine (huge Seahawks fan) said the exact same thing after the game. While I can't put all the blame on the ref's, there were two big botched calls that could have made a difference.

There were bad calls on both sides... but, I do believe that Ben's touchdown should have been overturned.

True, and that offensive P.I. was a chicken s#%& call.

But a few calls aren't going to totally change the game. The Seahawks lost it on their own.

well... im not taking anything away from steelers but... when you think about that pass to get to the 1 yd line and to see the ref call offensive holding (which to me was not holding) that kinda took the game away from seahawks cuz it was still 14 to 10. then after the play there was an interception. which could have been avoided.

So lawless even though both team had bad calls. seahawks had bad calls at times when they deserved a touch down and when steelers dont deserve a touchdown.

Well, in all honesty, it's just a game, that's over and done with!

Bad calls happen ALL THE TIME in sports. Sometimes it's for the team you want to win, in a good way, and sometimes a bad way. Or, for the opposite team. But, in the end of it all, it is just a game.

Jerome Bettis has al;wayhs been a go to guy. I was g;ad he got the MVP

But puleese what game were you watching Law.ess? This is A SUPER BOWL GAME AND THE Refs STUCK IT TO THE SEA HAWKS

iTS NOT JUST A GAME ITS THE MOST IM PORTANT GAME IN THE YEAR

We should not as fans all the time and Thru game after game HAVE To PUT UP With THE inept CALLING BY THE REFS

Worst one. they gave actually gave the
Steel ers that touchdown. We saw it on plasma TV and no way did the ball get over the white barely got to the green.

Not sour grapes cause its a game. However a lot of peoples future hangs on this game and it should be the best against the best.

IMO It would have been glorious to see Cincy against the Colts, and I am winning the lottery tomorrow, Ha Ha/

Well, to big football fans like myself, not to mention players and coaches, it's not just an average game. It's the Super Bowl, the championship game, best of the best. This is what they play the game for. The ultimate prize in their profession. A chance at immortality in a game they've been watching undoubtedly since they were children. So many hall of fame players never won the big one, others never even got there.

It's something special, that's what they play for. It's why they practice, sweat, bleed, and put their bodies through unbelievable punishment, for that Lombardi trophy. The off season training, pre-season, 17 regular season weeks is all just to get into a select group that has a shot at getting that trophy.

As a fan, it's different, but it's why I watch, to hope my team gets there and wins it all. If you're not in it to win it, then you're just watching a bunch of dudes in matching shirts play catch.
