Well, as much as I would LOVE for Crash to take it (and i still have a teeny tiny minute bit of hope it will...) I think BB Mtn will take it. Mainly b/c of how much they're promoting it and how they "pushed the boundary" with this film and just how adorable ang lee is when he accepts an award. It WAS a great movie. It gets you past the homosexual aspect of it and it portrays a love story. I loved it and it would deserve to win. That's my vote.

It was an absolutely BRILLIANT movie, that captured so many different emotions! The acting, in my opinion, was just beyond what you would expect... it was excellent. And the cinemaphotography was just breath taking.

Still haven't seen it. I heard it's good and all that, I just don't know. When I think of a cowboy I'm thinking Wyatt Earp, Billy The Kid, Doc Holiday. I am a big western fan so I think it might be a stretch for me to totally buy into. Of course I have no problem with a gay love story, quite the contrary. To me it's like seeing Batman & Superman fall in love, you know?
It's Spielbergs best film without a doubt. And that's saying alot.
Spielbergs movies on a bad day are better than....
Brokeback mountain. Broke my heart. I cried way too much.
And I don't think that Heath man should get best actor.
He mumbled so much and barely opened his mouth when he talked that I thought he was trying to do a James Dean impression. I kept looking for chew...but there wasn't any. I think he stuffed his mouth with a sock or something, because no one, including cowboys, talk like that.
I voted for Brokeback, even though the name bothers me. It's the only one I've seen, which is a shame. So many good movies this year that I never got around to seeing. Hopefully when they come out on tape I will get up the energy to rent Good Night and Good Luck, Munich, and Capote.
"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
