I heard on another site that one of the producers confirmed that Kim is coming back. Maybe it's just me, but I'm sick of Kim and her character. I love watching Elisha Cuthbert and all, but it takes away from the show.
She is coming back, she's casted for at least 4 episodes, which will be begin something like 4 or 5 episodes into the season. My only guess is she finds out her father's still alive and comes back to give him a hug or something.

Jack calls Mike Novik to set up a meeting. Mike is hesitant at first, but finally agrees. Cummings later accesses the phone records and sees Mike's plans to meet with Jack. Cummings orders secret service to look for and arrest Jack on sight. They get him, Jack thinks Mike set him up. Meanwhile, Mrs Logan escapes and starts yelling about Cummings drugging her. She's taken back to the President where he dismisses her comments once again. However, with Jack Bauer in prison talking about Cummings also, the pieces suddenly start to fit. Jack is taken for a face to face with the President, and Cummings knows he's nearing the end...

* At 1:06 we will learn that Lynn McGill has a drug-fiend sister named Jenny. She calls him asking for $500.
* Jack Bauer, who was fired from CTU between seasons three and four, is tonight officially reinstated to CTU by President Logan. (So I guess the U.S. is going to war with the Chinese?) Buchanan informs Audrey of Jack’s reinstatement at 1:09 p.m.
* At 1:10 p.m., Chloe will tell Buchanan that her boy-toy Spencer is needed to help crack proprietary security tech that is protecting a bad guy.
* At 1:11 p.m., Jack will ask Audrey to contact daughter Kim Bauer (whom we’ve not seen since season three) and ask her to come down to CTU. Jack wants to tell her he’s alive in person.
* At 1:12 p.m., the bad guys threaten to kill a body-shop worker if he doesn’t help them cut off the casing around the nerve-gas canisters. The key to getting their detonation codes lies underneath.
* At 1:19 p.m., Martha Logan is appalled when Mike Novick suggests to the president that Cummings’ involvement in Palmer’s assassination should be covered up.
* At 1:36 we learn the girl behind the bed in the promos is neither Kim nor Mandy. She’s a 15-year-old from Kiev who appears to the be the underage sex slave of a bad guy named Rossler. Rossler is a guy withholding vital evidence about the terrorists with the nerve gas.
* At 1:37 Jack decides to interrogate Rossler the Jack Bauer Way. There is leg-shooting. There is denial of pain meds. Curtis is ordered to step on the wound.
* At 1:49 Rossler tells Jack he won’t give CTU what it needs to avert disaster unless Rossler is allowed to keep to keep his 15-year-old sex slave.
* Three fresh corpses at three different locales in the final five minutes. At 1:55 President Logan is greeted by a grisly surprise.
* Neither Kim nor Mandy are seen cavorting. Tony does not yet awaken to exact his soul-patch vengeance.

In episode 11, Tony's going to wake up in full swing after being unconscious for, er, well, 11 hours. He'll want to know where Michelle is, but do you think they'll tell him the truth? Of course not; it wouldn't be CTU if they didn't find way to seriously bother people.

Kim comes back tonight, Tony wakes up (briefly), the terrorists learn about Lynn's stoled key card, and CTU member dies from nerve gas, one that was introduced before this season... bot Buchannon or Novak.
