This is just because I have read a news story that annoy me about England being able to win the World Cup because they beat Argentina once.
ONCE?!
If Iran beat Brazil once would people say that they could win the world cup? If the Ivory Coast beat Germany once would the same be said about them?
No!
So what makes England special? We may have beaten Argentina but we lost, LOST, to Northern Ireland and could only draw with Austria.
The England side is nothing special and we have a manager who prefers the bigger name players to the better performers.
For example Beckham. If Beckham is fit he will always be in the side. He could be playing the worst game of his professional carear but he would still play. I have no doubts in my mind that we would loose the world cup. In fact the only reason Sven still has the job is because the English FA dont want to pay out millions of pounds to sack him.

Well top of my list is England for two reasons 1 The English media because going by thier logic Brazil and Argentina etc should not bother showing up because England have already won the trophy. The final was held a couple of months back in Geneva apparently. 2. If England win it 2005 will be 1966. during the draw 1966 was mentioned 20+ plus times, do France and Sweden do this doubt it, so you can't go forward if you always look to the past.
I don't want to see an "organised" team win it either. Teams like Serbia or like Greece in euro champs. Organised teams win things but they are boring as hell.
I'm part Scottish so I'm allowed to dislike England at times.
Don't get me wrong, I am proudly born and raised in Portsmouth, but I have a cirtain symparty for the Scots and a hate for overconfidence and favoritism.
