the architect basically said that no matter what neo did he could not save trinity and we all gathered that he felt he controlled everything that happened. but by neo saving trinity he defied the odds and preconcieved notions of the architect and machines and he almost in a way is creating his own rules. i feel that the matrix will be defeated as well as the machines and we'll all get the happy ending we hope for....
also about the matrix within a matrix thingy, um....does anyone remember 12 monkeys? everyone i know liked the movie....that was until the end of it, if the matrix had an ending like some of you feel it will then A LOT of people are going to be pissed off
