BAGHDAD, Iraq—U.S. forces sealed off a house in the northern city of Mosul where eight Al Qaeda members died in a gunfight — some by their own hand to avoid capture. The White House said Sunday that it was "highly unlikely" that the terror leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was among the dead.

11/20/05 "McCall" -- -- BERLIN | The German intelligence officials responsible for one of the most important informants on Saddam Hussein's suspected weapons of mass destruction say that the Bush administration and the CIA repeatedly exaggerated his claims before the Iraq war.
Five senior officials from Germany's Federal Intelligence Service, or BND, said in interviews with the Los Angeles Times that they warned U.S. intelligence authorities that the source, an Iraqi defector code-named Curveball, never claimed to produce germ weapons and never saw anyone else do so.
Faced with US torture, killing and collective punishment of civilians, support for the Iraqi resistance is growing

11/19/05 "The Guardian" -- -- The photograph of an elderly Iraqi carrying the burned body of a child at Falluja, widely shown during the chemical weapons controversy of recent days, is almost a copy of an earlier one that Iraqis remember - from Halabja in March 1988. Both children were victims of chemical weapons: the first killed by a dictator who had no respect for democracy and human rights, the second by US troops, assisted by the British, carrying the colourful banner of those principles while sprinkling Iraqis with white phosphorus and depleted uranium.

Again Curley, stop pretending like you speak for the military or something. As far as I'm concerned you are nothing more than a cheerleader. Stop acting like you're supportive of the troops because you just cheerlead for the civilian leadership.

Listen, we have a deal where we can post pics of WAR, and it's not to be censored.
However, I have to post a warning in the thread title, and it's not fair to the thread starter if I have to do so.
I had to erase part of Curleys thread title to make this happen.
I personally feel that posting pics of what is really happening is appropriate, but if it's going to mess with someones else thread, maybe we should think before we do it.
Some see that poor baby and can deal with it, others see it and get sick.
I'm just saying we should give it some thought before we post these images, and put a warning on the thread title.
Some do not want to see this, whether is real life and relevant or not.
I changed the thread title of this thread to contain the warning, but I had to edit out some of what was written.
