I just finished reading an article on Marilyn's death (this month's Playboy mag...which also has a great interview with Pacino and another good read on Super Bowl tix bookies.) I'm not an expert (although I admit to being a Forensic Files junkie), there were a few points that the article brought up that really make me wonder how it could have been classified as an "apparent suicide" and not further investigated as a murder. Though this might be fun to discuss...as I'm sure everyone has an opinion on theory. Feel free to add your thoughts:
1) Her house was completely bugged, under 24/7 surveillance from all sorts of people (FBI, CIA, Hoffa, etc.) So how could no one have heard, or even better, had a tape of what happened that night?
2) The autopsy report was compromised, with a majority of the substances reported "missing"...including that from her stomach (her death, they say, was caused from taking 30-40 pills...but how could that be confirmed without proper testing?)
3) She was planning to re-marry Joe DiMaggio (according to his niece), so the idea of killing herself (and not really leaving a note, or calling him) doesn’t seem to really make sense to me.
Playboy! I am sure you just bought it for the articles, right?
I'd never heard that her house was bugged. Why was it bugged? Didn't she fall down the basement stairs? Was the basement bugged? Even if her house was bugged, someone falling might not make a lot of noise, especially if the bug was a bit far away.
Surely being such a prominant public figure her autopsy would've been investigate by the coronor as suspicious and been highly public and had heaps of interest in it. How could they get away with losing evidence and there not have been some sort of enquiry?
She was pretty messed up, even if she was planning to marry again, no one can know what was going through her head when she committed suicide, maybe she was scared that even after marrying again, they would break up or if they got married her career wouldn't work, or maybe she was scared she'd never have children, or any number of things. Her love life wasn't neccessarily the only reason she killed herself.

Schimiggens, I am amazed at you! With all the celebrity press that you read about and you never even heard that Marilyn Monroe's house was bugged? She supposedly was having an affair with President Kennedy and she stated that she was going to tell the press about Kennedy's past and what he did with his money. Kennedy contacted the C.I.A and demanded that her house be bugged in case she told a reporter on the phone about his investments in Cuba and Turkey. The whole house was bugged for three months and all recordings were sent to the President.
How could they get away with losing evidence and there not have been some sort of enquiry?
Very easily. The coroner lied to the public. He supposedly saw that Marilyn had overdose on Valium because her kidney looked inflammed and so on and so forth.
Several people enquired into the case pointing the finger at Kennedy, but they were silenced.

Marilyn Monroe was the very first version of a political prostitute....AKA "A Presidential Model" of mind control slave.
She was murdered for reasons....
and subsequent "Presidential Models" weren't as famous...but they've all been threatened with the ole "Look what we did to Marilyn Monroe? We can and will do that to you when we have used you up." Most don't live past the age of 30. Few have lived to tell...

That's why I believe the coroner lied. You can't possibly die from a Valium overdose.
If you look at the autopsy photos, you will see a broken window that is Marilyn Monroe's room. It looks very much like a baseball might of hit the window. Most people thought it was a shotgun blow to the window. I will provide a picture of the autopsy photo when I find it.

Neighbors reported that a hysterical woman had yelled, ‘Murderers! You murderers! Are you satisfied now that she’s dead?’” Reports later confirm that woman to be Pat Newcomb, Monroe’s best friend and companion of both R.F.K and J.F.K. 1 At the time of Monroe’s death, the public had not yet been made aware of the fact that Marilyn had had an affair with the President and that she was currently seeing the Attorney General. These relationships are the most substantial when proving her murder because, earlier on in day, Marilyn had threatened to tell the world of the affairs. This unquestionably would have destroyed the careers of both, John F. Kennedy as well as his brother, Robert F. Kennedy. tomorrow.’” Five hours later Marilyn Monroe was dead.”

Clinton's little army made life hell for many of the women he schlepped around with.
And they have testified to that. Besides he was up for a crime....you don't think offing Monica would be too obvious.
