Katie Holmes' pre-nup' demands
Katie Holmes is reportedly demanding a pre-nuptial agreement before she marries fiancé Tom Cruise - guaranteeing her millions if the pair split.
The former Dawson's Creek beauty, who is pregnant with the couple's first child, is said to be refusing to tie the knot with the Hollywood heartthrob unless the pair sign a legal agreement financially securing her and her unborn baby's future. .
Katie has asked her lawyer father Marti - a strict Catholic who was rumoured to be unhappy when his daughter became pregnant out of wedlock - to sort out the arrangements and according to US reports he is "playing hardball with the negotiations".
The proposed agreement will reportedly include a clause guaranteeing the 36-year-old beauty a "payment of millions" if the marriage ends within five years.
Tom, who has been married twice before to actresses Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman, is said to be happy to sign a pre-nuptial agreement to please his future bride. .
Meanwhile, the couple are rumoured to be planning to tie the knot in a beach ceremony next month. Katie and Tom were planning Christmas nuptials but are now said to be tying the knot at the swanky Ritz-Carlton in Mexico in November - because Cruise doesn't want his baby born outside of marriage.
