Remix City Volume 1 In Stores November 15
'Let Your Light Shine' Available Digitally; Song Will Benefit Hurricanes
Katrina and Rita Victims Through BET 'S.O.S. (Saving Ourselves)' Relief
Telethon and the American Red Cross
NEW YORK, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The complete Trapped In The Closet Chapters 1-12 will be released on DVD on November 1. The DVD will include never before seen footage as well as a documentary on the making of the Trapped saga. Additionally R. Kelly will have, as a DVD bonus, a running commentary on the entire Trapped series. BET's Access Granted will premiere Chapter 6 the week of October 10; and beginning October 17 MTV2 will kick off R. Kelly week.
R. Kelly is donating all proceeds from "Let Your Light Shine," a new track he wrote for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and Rita to "S.O.S. (Saving OurSelves): The BET Relief Telethon," which benefits Hurricane Katrina and Rita victims through the American Red Cross. The single is available digitally on all service providers and its video is currently in rotation on BET.
Remix City Volume 1 is a collection of all of R. Kelly's classics remixed by R. Kelly that will be in stores on November 15.
The track listing includes:
1. Your Body's Callin'
2. Bump N' Grind
3. Sex Me
4. Down Low (Nobody Has To Know)
5. I Can't Sleep Baby (If I)
6. I Wish
7. I Mean (I Don't Mean It)
8. Ignition
9. Step In The Name Of Love
10. Slow Dance (Hey Mr. DJ)
11. Feelin' On Yo Booty featuring YoungBloodz
12. Slow Wind
So Your Body's Calling has a few remixes already... the biggest one being The His and Hers Remix. Bump N' Grind has the Old School Remix (and a few others), Sex Me has Sex Me Part II, but that was on the 12 Play album... wondering if it'll be a different remix. Down Low had the Live To Regret It Remix - Blame It On The Mo'. I Can't Sleep Baby had a remix also. I Wish had the "To The Homies That We Lost" remix, but that was on the TP-2.com album already. There was also a Slang Dance remix, with a different audio track, but the music was crap. I Mean (I Don't Mean It) was on TP-2.com as well... don't know if he re-remixed that one.... Ignition and Step In The Name Of Love both had remixes on the Chocolate Factory album.... Slow Dance had the After the Party's Over Singing Mix, but that was just the same vocals over a different musical track. Feeling On Yo Booty didn't have a remix with YoungBloodz previously, so that must be new. And Slow Wind will be a new remix also.
Of course the track listing could change...

So the actual album ended up with 14 tracks, which isn't bad. However only 3 of the tracks are previously unreleased, with many of the others coming from R. Kelly's previous albums or singles.
Well, Ignition - Remix, Step In The Name Of Love - Remix, I Mean (I Don't Mean It), I Wish - Remix (To The Homies That We Lost) and Sex Me (Part II) are the only tracks you could find on albums.
The You're Body's Callin' (His and Hers Remix) is a great one that was only features on the single of the song, which is fairly rare, so it'd be worth picking up for that alone, but its also got the great I Can't Sleep Baby remix and the old school remix of Bump N' Grind, which is awesome.
A lot of tracks noticably absent, however. Any Summer Bunnies Remix would have been good, and Fiesta (though I couldn't care less personally...) and perhaps the In The Kitchen remix would have been good. There was also an awesome Honey Love remix (Sensuous Remix) which could have been included.
ah well.
