I live in Culver City, California and the big news near where I lived was the electricity was cut off in Los Angeles, close to where I live. Fortunately, my town didn't lose any power, but for many it did.
Apparently, an electric curcuit snapped and many lost power within an hour. I was driving near Los Angeles to see how the locals reacted and it wasn't great.
The electric company is trying to repair the curcuit and hopefully the lights will come back on again.

This happens quite often in Los Angeles. I was reading a Florida newspaper and they were going bananas over Los Angeles losing power.
Culver City loses power not as often as Los Angeles, but the elecricity is so poor here that during an earthquake we lose power for at least twelve or fourteen months.

This story being such a big deal on the news only proves that the media is out of control now with their danger factor and cause to make as much money off of disaster and bad news.
I realize it may have been linked to the news of "terrorist" threats in LA over the weekend....but I just see some producer in the newsroom trying to come up with ways to keep Americans glued to their shows and their sponsors.

today while I was walking home these two dogs (which were NOT on leashes) ran up to me. One was a bigger dog, the other was a puppy. The puppy was yapping at me. The bigger dog had a squeaky-toy in its mouth, and kept squeaking it at me.
CALL THE PRESS!!!!! RABID DOGS ARE ON THE LOOSE!!!!!
