Recently purchased a laptop and using wireless for access now. I'm not really crazy about it or adapting well after YEARS of PC usage, but I'm curious if this site as compatible to most mobile browsers. I've been able to view the headers but not the threads or topics on mobile. I am not able to log in and my wireless carrier said that depends on the site that I am visiting...
I am able to view some web sites that are similar to this but not INR and I really would like to view posts, threads etc. Any suggestions?
I'm out of town with the laptop and this hotel has wireless access and I can read and post as if I'm back in NJ banging away at the PC keyboard.
This is my first post with the laptop Lickety split. No visible restraints depending on wireless reception card on your laptop. Are you getting strong signals with 3 bars or more on connectivity?

I have a laptop and a mobile browser (wap).
Thanks!
Loooking forward to your replies.
I just connected with my Pocket PC and all looks good.
What OS are you using and what browser are you using?
I made it back on here. Right now I'm on a PC desktop. I have tried using a few cellphones with WAP but I found out I need to have the ability to view in html. Perhaps that is why when I tried the mobile internet browser to see INR I could only see "limited" links but no posts. The wireless laptop is something different all together, I can log on no problem. It's just that I have to adapt to the tiny, compact laptop and it drives me CRAZY with the mouse calibration. What used to take 5 mins on a PC takes me 20 mins. Heh, guess I'm getting old with the technology.
Someone mentioned that certain websites are not compatible with my WAP (mobile internet) and that there is some "code" or something that a website must enable to view that format. That "someone' being my wireless carrier, makes me suspect they don't get what I'm asking.
I thank you Ken, Flying Panda, Ron Ackerman and Whidden for your insights.
Ohhh you said LAPTOP, not Cellphone, Is the cell using PocketPC software or Palm? If' it's PocketPC, they make some better browsers. However as I said I have a PDA with PocketPC 2003 and it looks good on my browser. Anyway, I'll take a look to see if there is something special.
