This sub-forum is for posting your own editorials, in your own words, that you write.
Not for posting news articles or editorials someone else wrote.
You can quote a news article as part of your editorial if you want.
But here is the main twist that makes this different than any other area of Inreview.
No one can respond to the thread.
confusing?
Well, we are trying an experiment, trying to make a sub-forum, where you can come and post your Editorial, and make it like a blog, just have it there to read, and it's not really a discussion thread.
Just your own personal "blog".
If anyone responds to it, then those posts will be moved to the off topic thread.
Eh, we will try it out, see how it works, if it succeeds or fails, might have to tweak it some, we will see how it goes.
This thread won't be closed you can post your gripes, complaints, suggestions, rants, etc. in here.
sowhatsthetruth said this in post #2 : Can we post an editorial to a previous editorial thread in a newly created editorial thread?
Ya get my drift?
Well, kinda, if you MUST.
I tell ya what, why not just write your editorial, whatever it has in it, unless it has personal attacks or bad lang,
it's yours, you can do what you want with it. We won't mess with it.
But if you just want to say things (a few words, like a normal post) about someone elses editorial, just respond to it in the Iraq off topic thread, or this thread here, that' works.
I think "the goal" is to help grandfather in members who are too scared or too timid to post there opines in the Iraq forum, and just want to give there two cents and bolt, without having to debate.
Also a place where you can go and vent and not have to debate if you are not in the mood.
Of course, your editorial can get ripped up in this thread, or in the off topic thread,
but then the person who posts don't have to go read it if they don't want.
It's almost a cop-out really, but a fun experiment, we might get some ideas and posts that we might not see otherwise.
Or the forum might die a sad lonely non posting death, hard to tell.

As soon as you post your thread, it will be closed. If anyone does respond to it before it's closed, we will move the posts to another thread.

Just your own personal "blog". The only downside is you will have to start a new thread each time, but if we leave it open, people will post in it, that's just human nature.

I have to say, this is one of the most biased, un-informative, and STUPID editorials I have ever read in my life
I always knew you were a right-winged nutjob, Whidden, but I never expected this.
