This movie looks fantastic. I'll be in the theatre in december watching it on the big screen. Andy Serkis is in it. He's the guy that played Gollum. Peter Jackson takes care of his actors...
I don't care about Andy Serkis, but Jack Black is one funny actor. I am sure he will be comedic in all the appropriate places.
The movie doesn't sit well with evolution since dinosaurs' extinction was the impetus for the mammals (especially ones as big as King Kong), but it is just a movie, so I don't care that much. T-Rex vs. King Kong looks cool.

Kong looks intimidating... I bet there are a lot of kids who want nothing to do with this movie... then there are kids like me who will do just about anything.
Please pardon my pseudo-intellectuaphilisophicalismysiticality.
And I loved the cars in it, those old model somethings.
The film work looks excellent, like in LOTR's, what I like about Jackson is he blends computer graphics with real life film footage, instead of doing a Lucas and doing it ALL CGI.
Jackson's way is way way better, has a more complex look to the film, really neat.
I WAS looking forward to this I love the original 1930 King Kong. I saw it not that long ago and it's still good. But just reading this thread has put me off the new film.
T-Rex? You're joking ...... right ..... I hope so .....
