Not in a million years would I imagine my relationship with Omari having any downfalls. We've been through it all, and yet still managed to be together. Having Taina made everything so much easier, or at least that's what I thought. Yea, Omari loved Taina and spoiled her rotten..but after her 1st birthday, I seen the change in Omari towards ME. He started acting weird. Weird in which I can't even explain. All the late night talking, constantly came to a pause. I made sure I didn't gain any weight after Taina. That was definitely not the problem. I couldn't tell you what was. I noticed he change the day I asked him to go pick up my friend from the airport.
I was coming out of the room after puttin the baby to sleep. Omari was in the living room watching television.
"Hey Boo..could you do me a favor?" I said as I sat next to him on couch.
"Yea Baby? What?" He sounded irritated like I've been asking him all day. I didn't know what was the matter with him so I asked. "What's wrong?"
"Nothin' what do you need?" He kept looking at the t.v like it was going some where. I made my way over to his lap, blocking the t.v. He looked at me. Then looked to the side of me, and asked again, "What do you need?"
I put on my little baby voice and said, "Could you please pick up Kelina for me?" He gave me this stupid look and asked who Kelina was. I forgot that he didn't know her. She was one of my homegirls from when I stayed in Virginia for a while.
"Kelina, from VA." I said. He gave me the same look.
"Why do you want me to pick her up?" He asked. What did he mean by why? I asked him to do it. It could of been solved with an easy yes or no answer.
"Because..she's staying with us for two days." I told him.
"Why?" he asked again. "I don't know her...who is she?"
"I jus told you." I could tell he was gettin a little attitude.
"Well I don't know her."
"Does it matter?"
"Yes, it does Nia."
"Yes or No Omari."
"No"
With his answer, I got up. I grabbed my keys off the table by where he was sitting and walked out of the front door.
I walked to the car and opened the door. I quickly got in and started the car. Omari was coming out the door and toward the car as I started to pull off.
"Wait!" He said as he jogged to the car from the front door.
"What?" I asked him with an attitude.
"What time are you coming back? I'm supposed to..." I cut him off.
"I'll be back whenever..jus watch Taina." I drove off after that, leaving him looking stupid in the middle of the street.
I'll be back later to finish that. I'm supposed to be working lol =]
