Just pure out good light saber battle:

The Phantom Menace
Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan vs. Darth Maul

Best battle with extra drama going on, aka word banter back and forth:
Return of The Jedi
Luke vs. Darth Vader, pt. 2

I agree with Whidden on the banter, Vader decidedly had some of the best lines.

I think my all time favorite is "THE DUEL". The rapid swordplay just has me in awe most of the time, though Obi wan & Qui gon vs Darth Maul is also up there in my favorites. If there's one thing the new trilogy did well, it was light saber battles, not to say that any of the original trilogy's were bad though.

the one from phantom menace is the best for me. 2nd would be vader vs. obi in revenge of the sith. i think that with the vader vs. obi-wan in revenge of the sith the camera was too close and there were too many cuts during the duel. but it was still good.

I love Darth Maul. He was played by Ray Park who also played Toad in X-Men. This guy is just crazy with Martial Arts. Not somone you want to piss off.

The whole reason of me watching Phantom Menace is because of Darth Maul. I would just skip to the fight I really hate how he was killed off so quick though. I wish he had a longer life in the series.

Did Maul ever say anything? I don't remember. I just remember his look and his double-ended lightsaber.

Tops on my list is the fight between Anakin and Obi, but any saber fight with Yoda is cool too. I also liked the fan saber fight where the two people used flourescent light tubes and they blew up...

He said very little, but did talk. Said something like, "soon we will have our revenge... blah blah blah."

For me it still starts and ends with the first saber duel in Ep. IV between Obi-Wan & Vader. Sure, it's not as exciting as the rest, but you can tell there was big time history there.

Second is Luke vs. Vader in Jedi.

Close third is Obi-Wan vs. Vader in Sith. That whole battle was dope.

Heck loves Vader. Which is reasonable, considering he's probably the MOST recognizable villian in all of cinema.

Vader is cool and all, but I was a Luke fan growing up. I think I becoming a Obi-Wan fan though.

I liked Obi-Wan when he was younger in Phantom Menace. I wanted to dress up as him for Halloween but never did though. I think I could have pulled it off though cus I kind of look like him.

Smith comes close.

Speaking of Smith, one of my favorite lightsaber duels is the battle between 100 Smiths and 1 Neo. Well, not a lightsaber duel, but they did use the force, imo.

Oh, it just had 2 dark, non-luminous, non-telescopic, non-carterising ends, and Neo built it in a split second by pulling it out of the ground... I get it...

Imagine if Neo really COULD use the force inside the matrix... He'd be the ultimate uber-Jedi... Vader wouldn't stand a chance...

What's our least favorite duel, or the one we HATE the most? Mace and Palpatine? That's probably mine, off the top of my head...
