Shrimp recipes post #1  quote:

Here is something I came up with (with a little inspiration from a Wild Oats recipe):

Take a saute pan, and heat some oil in it (2 - 3 teaspoons). Then put some dried pepper seeds and whatever other spices you like (I am Indian so I put tons of stuff), about a pinch each. Then take about 1/2 lb. shrimp and fry them for about 2-3 minutes. Then take a medium-sizeed chopped onion and fry it along with the shrimp as well. When both the shrimp and the onions are a brownish color and look reasonably fried, add about a cup of peas. Then add some garlic and lemon juice if you want. After a minute or so, add some cream (and if you don't have cream like I don't, about a quarter cup of 2% milk is good too) and let it simmer for about 4-5 minutes. In the end, you should have a reasonably good curry-ish shrimp. It takes me about 15 minutes to make, so it is quick.
