Was it you that said that Clive Davis already said he would sign both the winner and the runner up? I think it was.
At this point it really doesnt matter as far as Im concerned...I mean, the main point of anyone on this show isnt so much to be the "idol" as much as it is to get themselves known and get a contract.
They will both get it...so they did what they came to do.
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

fuscia said this in post #11 : Yes Clive will sign both of them. It should be a great finale this year.
I agree...I think this will be one of the best finale's to date.
I know you said that you feel as if the judges are pushing for Bo...but I dont know. I know Paula is a big fan, and Simon and Randy like him as well, but remember Simon still predicted Carrie to win...he did the same with Fantasia and she won.
So, I have a feeling that Carrie will win, but for me personally, I'd still love to see Bo get it....but deep down, I dont care since they will both get contracts, and Ill still be able to get his CD.

Simon's push for Carrie was very weak and very long ago. Lately he's been more of a Bo advocate. Paula's a Bo fan in no uncertain terms. But then, she's got a thing for the boys, doesn't she? Randy probably leans a wee bit towards Bo, but that's not real clear.
I predicted those two as the finalists long ago. Not that I think Bo is a worthy contender. I've never made a secret of the fact that I don't like anything about him. I don't even think he has a good voice, let alone style, etc. But....admittedly, that's my personal taste in music. My fear is that if Bo wins the Idol title (hey, I'm a poet & don't know it), next year American Idol 5 will be saturated with rocker auditions (you can bet the bank on it), and that will spoil the show for me tremendously.
Bo will get his contract either way. I hope he's not the winner because (A) he's not my idea of an American Idol, and (B) I think Carrie's voice has his beat by light years, and I really, truly believe she is the deserving American Idol this year. I have been listening to music for more years than some of you are alive, and she has as good a singing voice as I have heard anywhere. I hope America recognizes that. Unfortunately, there are a kazillion girls out there, that may very well constitute the majority of voters, who have a Paula mentality. Therefore, I honestly expect Bo to win and my personal choice to finish second for the third year in a row.

From someone who seems to always listen, I guess you missed the confirmation he made of that prediction just last week after Ryan asked him the question about it. Youre slipping! .

AZ...its funny how we want our favorite person to win, but we both feel it will be the opposite
(As for the rest of your statement, I wont comment...Ive read the same post from you, in different words of course, many, many times before..so Im assuming you already know what my reaction is to that, since you, too, have seen my reactions before as well.)

Guess I'll have to look for that and play it back. I don't recall that at all.

Yep, agreed, so we won't beat a dead horse-at least not until next week.
