I dont think one should base it ONLY on tonights performance...they both had their ups and downs for 16 weeks...and I dont think it should come down to the final task only.
Based on the 16 week performance by both gals...I still think Tana is stronger...on the other hand, Tana's attitude tonight was less than desirable...the way she treated the higher ups of the community...UGH...I just thought she was horrible to them...she was so standoffish to them.
I just dont know...Kelly was kind of the same way...just not as prominent in the way he did it like Tana was.
Im just not sure.
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

Ron Ackerman said this in post #4 : I also think he will make another statement (by his actions) like he did last year. He values those who have college degrees.
He says that every year...but for some reason, I think that may not be such a factor....
I mean, if education was THAT important to him, which Im sure it is, but if it really was, why even bother giving street smarts a chance. I mean, if they have no hope to be hired based on only education alone...it would be a crappy thing for Trump to make them think they have a chance, and then say that education is the most important thing to him, therefore he wont hire them based only on that...
You know?
Of course thats just my opinion....I could be wrong. (Dennis Miller)

There is really no parity between the two levels of difficulty between Tana's Olympic event and Kendra's Video event. As much as the Kendra Supporters sided with Kendra as the winner of the more complex event, there is another side to that argument. The size, scope, staff and showmanship all confirmed that the Olympic search was multiple times more challenging than some staged event with the boxers sitting on a pinebox flipping a tiny hand-control set of buttons.
Kendra was dealing with animation and cartoons on stage only. Tana was orchestrating a live world athletic competition bid.
Kendra's event didn't even have her athletes break a sweat or gave any live demonstration. Too simplistic and run of the mill, while Tana's actually had hundred countries Olympic March Opening followed by dozens of athletes competed in multiple contested track and field, high bars, parellel bars and almost a dozen live Olympic competition to schedule and coordinate inside the tight timeline.
Last night's #16 episode, the only staff challenge for Kendra was Michael moving around the PlayStation equipment while Tana was juggling multiple tasks simutaneously. Okay Kendra failed Danny and should have managed and attended the PlayStation Executive meeting. Kendra and Tana both had identical resources, a team of four.
George stands in the middle of Kendra's Video Game
1. Tana had the more difficult team of personalities on her staff to manage and delegate with Kristen and Brian (Can anyone really believe Kristen said her team is one happy family to begin with? LOL)
Paul Hamm displays his world-class gymnastics prowess during the NYC2012 event.
2. Kendra had the easy program. She only answered to Aimee a private sponsor, managing ONE program while the Tana had to orchestrate and answer to multiple demands of a WORLD competition event. Kendra's sponsor wasn't going to break contract via an empty threat: "At this point PlayStation will not pull our sponsorship. I am fairly confident that Kendra will pull off a good event." Kendra didn't even put together an event brochure, because people were there simply to observe a TV demo. The two were like day and night.
Donald Trump and Governor George Pataki chat with a group of Olympians backstage during the NYC2012 Athlete Challenge event. Bruce Jenner, host of the NYC2012 Athlete Challenge, goes over the event timeline with Tana.
3. Tana had to baby sit her 3-idiot staff, wake up and get the 3 lazy people coordinated for Chelsea Pier competition. Kendra had it easy. Despite Tana's repeated wake up calls, her employees were still lounging in bed. "I'm very irritated at my team right now. And I just cannot stand people who are selfish and can't get their ass out the door. It infuriates me."
Brian struggles to transport the flags of the world while setting up the NYC2012 Athlete Challenge event.
4. Kendra reported to a female client Aimee while Tana had to report to the NY Governor's personal assistant Vinnie whom was MORE demanding. Aimee never asked for the flyer, while Tana had hers delegated to Kristen and it was expected back from the printers. Tana had relied on Kristen but not reviewed the details because Kristen informed Tana that she had taken those data from NYC2012 officials Peter and Amy and printed them verbatim. Tana acted timely, intervened and decided to pull them from distribution.
Carolyn silently observes as Tana struggles to keep her team together during the final task.
5. Tana didn't cry like Kendra during the show. Kendra had it easy the entire competition night. Tana said to Kendra: "I thought you meant crying because the task was so hard... I felt like Kendra's team was stronger than my team."
Ken NJ said this in post #7 : Hi KB, are you going to post something?
I actually agree with you about the scope of the tasks. Though Kendra's was FAR from "easy", it was a much simpler event to orchestrate. That being said, Tana was just awful. I wouldn't hire her to walk the dog.
Tana needs to watch what she says about her employees. Of course she didn't pick them. It's like I've always said, it's not good to air your dirty laundry to those who don't need to know or even care.
Other than that and putting out fires I think she did pretty good.
Tana didn't put out any fires. She simply ignored them, then pretended like she solved the problem. Classic line was when the Governor's assistant said that Gov. Pataki was waiting outside and Tana said that was fine. He simply said, "No it's not" and walked away. She was awful.
As for Kendra, she didn't have as many problems, but one reason for that is that she was able to get her people all pulling the same direction. She had the initial issue with Danny and the execs and the Playstation problem, but a lack of snags doesn't mean she didn't have any fires to put out. Her three team members were every bit as bad as Tana's. She just managed them better.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of Kendra's. I think that these two women are both weak candidates, who make Jennifer M. look like a world-beater (which she wasn't). But Kendra was FAR superior in this last task.
I agree. Tana stunk. Her attitude was awful - "let them walk ahead, leave before me, do the employee thing. I stay back, leave later, like the executive." Boy.
And her idea of handling problems was to ignore them - especially with the Governor. I hope Trump watches how she treated him. And it didn't matter to her that an American flag wasn't there - so what, what can I do about it?
Her whole condescending attitude toward her team should be a wake up call for Trump. I hope her gloating about "I've got this job" comes back to haunt her. I want Kendra to win.
Pretty much everyone here knows how I dislike Kendra and support Tana.
But based on the last task, it appears, sadly to say, that Kendra did a better job.
Ken, I agree that Tana's taks was bigger, but I don't think she performed well. Plus her attitude toward her team was horrible. She shouldn't be all cry-baby best friends like Kendra, but you can't treat people like that, regardless if they're idiots.
I still think Tana has a better track record, but I think Kendra won that final task. Let's see how it plays out.
I don't necessarily think Trump needs to look at their overall performance. The final task is designed to test them at a very high profile kind of event, and who can handle themselves the best should win. Clearly, that would be Kendra.
Someone mentioned how Trump values education, but he backed off on Tana when she left after 3 years of college to start a family.
True, but with these two, it's trying to find the shinier turd. It's a matter of who's less weak. Kwame from season one is hands down better than both of these two combined.
