A poem about my heart

I was just sitting here, at the pc, feeling a plethra of emotions, and this poured out from my soul... thought that I would share it here.

My Heart

my heart aches
much at stake
love so intense
life without sense

in a daze
looking through haze
which for me
shall it be

roads split apart
inside the heart
is love strong
is it wrong

needing to be
with her... me
feel those arms
kept from harm

filling my mind
one of a kind
destiny it seems
awaken in dreams

needing her touch
wanting so much
feeling her whole
inside of my soul

together as one
or do we run
near or far
she's my bright star

life takes hold
shaping... im it's mold
twisting and turning
leaving me churning

inside and out
without a doubt
leave me to be
everything but free

come to me, please
dont be a tease
quench my insatiable thirst
pulled me from the first

only with you
can i seem to get through
this life of hell
with you, my shell
