And actually, just to go one further, Judaism is a religion...being Jewish CAN be an ethnicity, depending on whether one is Sephardic or Ashkanazi. Those are races.
So...yeah, it is a race...but when talking about the religious aspect, the bloodlines are whats important. The article in question is about religious Jews as opposed to ethnic Jews.

And who do you think dreamed up the Jew hating document, The Protocols of the Elders of Zion back in the early 20th century? There is a movie coming out toward the end of this month called Protocols of Zion which addresses some of these issues. It is in Seattle on Jan 13, doesn't get to my state until Jan 20th.
I agree...total nonsense. It is claimed that the Ashkenazi's took on Jewry for political gain. Yeah, right. The fact is, that would be the same as choosing to be gay for the affirmative action.
