Britney Rushes To Vegas After Kevin Gets Lap Dances
The Las Vegas Review Journal reports Britney Spears was spotted surprising hubby Kevin Federline when he showed up at Cirque du Soleil's "O" on Sunday night.
The Federlines ended up in a suite at the Hard Rock Hotel. Britney's visit may have been prompted by a report the today which said Federline was eyed getting lap dances at Spearmint Rhino over the weekend before she arrived.
Britney Spears' new husband Kevin Federline and his pals treated themselves to a series of lapdances during a weekend trip to Las Vegas -- and he was given his wife's blessing.
On January 21, the dancer and his friends checked into the V.I.P. suite at the gambling haven's Hard Rock Hotel and Casino before dining at the Pink Taco. The next night, they enjoyed a steak meal before heading on to the popular strip club, Spearmint Rhino.
A source says, "Kevin had several lapdances. But they didn't get out of line."
Spears, who was enjoying a spa trip with her girlfriends, arrived in time to see the show by circus troupe Cirque Du Soleil the following night before the couple holed themselves up in Federline's hotel room.
Spears' representative Leslie Sloane says of the lapdances, "Big deal. It's a guy thing."
Britney Spears's husband Kevin Federline today when asked about his apparent seperation from wife Britney half heartedly denied it stating whilst badly mumbling and sheepishly grinning " that rumours are rumours ". Kevin who has not been spotted by his wife's side for almost two weeks now is pictured filling up a hire car he used to drive to Las Vegas over the weekend in at a Malibu petrol station and then with his friends at a upscale Los Angeles Mexican restaurant.
One of his friends said when asked the same question that " the thing about rumours is that sometimes they are true and sometimes they are not ". Kevin has been with his childhood friends on and off for the last two weeks in which time they have been to Las Vegas twice whislt his better half Britney has been no where to be seen although there have been sketchy reports that she was spotted patying it up with friends at the New Orleans mardi gras.
In Touch magazine reports that Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline may be in trouble after the dancer has been partying with pals lately. "Kevin has suddenly started partying like a single guy," the mag says.
"In addition to going out on several occasions without his wedding band on, he's been hanging out with his old posse of pals and flying to Las Vegas for weekends of drinking, gambling — and even lap dances in strip clubs!"
You'd think after the furore over Jennifer Aniston being seen without her wedding ring that celebrities would take heed and make sure they remember to put theirs on.
I REALLY hope that this is not a sign of a marriage break down. I don't think Britney's career could recover from two marriages and two divorces in less than 18 months.
Britney Spears and new beau Kevin Federline have settled down into domestic bliss, denying reports that their marriage is on the rocks. The pair say they will be together forever and are planning to launch a clothing line together later this year.
Federline, who left pregnant girlfriend Shar Jackson for the pop princess last year, admits he could never have imagined the way things turned out. "I'll tell you one thing, I never thought any of this would happen," he said. "I could go on for ever about my love for this girl."
The former pizza-delivery boy turned dancer told Details magazine that Britney was incredibly proud of him. "I could be sitting at home doing nothing. I could be playing video games. She's more proud of me than anyone has ever, ever, ever been in my lifetime," he said.
He admits that their parents warned them not to rush in when they announced their decision to marry last September, after just five months together. "Our parents were telling us to take our time," he said. "But I mean, it's like, we knew. And how often do people listen to their parents anyway?"
Federline, 26, said the couple were planning to launch a clothing line later this year, called Pair of Dice as they have matching dice tattoos.
Spears, asked about the constant media obsession with their lives, claims the public is obsessed with celebrity to avoid hard topics like "war and death". "People want to live in a fantasy," she said. "So Kevin and I, or any other celebrities, are a distraction."
On their marriage, she has no doubts: "We're going to be together forever. We know that, and that's the only thing that matters."
Their comments conflict with latest US magazine reports that suggest the pair are on the verge of break-up.
In Touch Weekly claims Federline is back to his bachelor ways and has been socialising on a regular basis without his wife - and minus his wedding ring.
Life and Style Weekly claims Federline's behaviour has prompted Britney to reconsider starting a family.
A source says: "It has occurred to Britney that Kevin isn't a great help in cleaning up after the dogs, and he might not be too eager to be on midnight diaper patrol either."
Federline is said to be annoyed by the amount of attention Spears pays to her three pooches.
Things have gotten mighty icy around the Malibu mansion Britney Spears shares with her husband of six months, Kevin Federline. The baby-desperate Brit has frozen her hubby out of the bedroom with nagging and demands for attention, says a source. And she's sent Kevin packing off to a bedroom as far from hers as possible in their sprawling 9,000- square-foot, eight-bedroom mansion! Kevin's pals say that less than a year into their marriage, the pair just can't sleep together anymore. "They're fighting like cats and dogs," says a source close to Kevin.
"SHE NAGS HIM NON-STOP"
"They're just screaming at each other. Kevin's getting really ticked off. He told his friends, 'I don't even sleep in the same room as Britney anymore. I stay in a whole other side of the house. I just can't stand her b**ching.'"
The trouble started with clashes over 23-year-old Britney's well-publicized desire to start making babies right away -- something Kevin's not keen to do yet, according to friends. Kevin, 26, already has two children with his ex, Moesha star Shar Jackson, 28 -- and isn't in a rush to have more. "They've been quarreling about that for weeks," says the source. "But lately -- since they got back to Malibu from Britney's family home in Louisiana at the end of February -- things have gotten much worse between them." But the baby battle is only the beginning! The source says Kevin is telling pals she nags him non-stop. "He says that they fight all the time because she is constantly whining and complaining about everything he does. He told his pals, "The b**ch even started whining at me that I smoke too many cigarettes, and I should give them up. She b**ches at me for spending time with my friends. She b**ches about me going riding on my chopper. She b**ches at me if I leave her alone for a minute.'"
SHE RANTS,HE RUNS
Things came to a head at a recent blow-up in Malibu, where the pair share the $6.9 million mansion Britney bought shortly after their marriage last September. "She screamed, 'I don't even like this house, but I bought it for you and me and the family we're going to have. But if you're never here with me, what's the point?'" says a friend.
Even though Kevin is out of the bedroom, don't count him out of Britney's life yet. "I don't think Kevin's ready to walk," says the source, "he loves Britney's money too much and his expensive toys, especially the custom motorcycle she bought him for Christmas. But his patience is getting so stretched that he's doing everything he can to avoid her and her rants." Britney's rep declined to comment.
KEVIN Federline left his rumored-to-be-pregnant wife, Britney Spears, at her brother's Santa Monica apartment last weekend, and headed to Las Vegas.
While there, the dancer partied with pals at Pure, in the company of self-described "VIP escort" Vanessa Hulihan, Us Weekly reports. "At one point, she was sitting on his lap," one onlooker tells the mag. ". . . he was sliding his hand between her thighs." Federline and Hulihan "hung out" all weekend, Us says, and he "refused to answer Britney's phone calls. He's been telling friends he doesn't want her to have his baby." He added: "If I ever get a divorce, I want to move to Vegas." Nice.
A blind item in the new pop*****.com newsletter asks, "Which pop star's newish husband seemed to be up to his old tricks in Las Vegas last weekend, disappearing into a strip club's private room with one of the strippers at 2am?"
The Sun reports that Britney Spears confronted hubby Kevin Federline when he returned from a vacation in Las Vegas where he allegedly got close to VIP escort Vanessa Hulihan, and burst into tears during an argument. "He was later overheard saying, 'She's kicked me out'," an onlooker said.
