According to CBS, "thousands of Web sites, Internet polls and even Julia Roberts" consider Aishwarya Rai to be the most beautiful woman in the world. While she's not ugly, I wouldn't go so far as to call her the most beautiful woman in the world. Sure she won Miss World in 1994 and sure she's in 10 gazillion Bollywood films, but look at her eyes. I don't know what it is, but there's something about those eyes that rubs me the wrong way.
But I think it's hard to try and find the most beautiful woman in the world. Everyone has different tastes and appreciates different aspects of a woman's beauty.
Agreed Schmiggens. I consider her as one of the most beautiful women in the World, but I know a girl in real life who is as gorgeous, if not more. And I think that Aishwarya Rai's green eyes are one of her most beautiful features.

p.s. She is in my top 2 list. Seeing just her photographs is not enough. You should see her in action, and then you realise why she is so beautiful.

I have always thought that beauty was an opinion that everyone has about a particular person. Saying that Aishwarya Rai is the world's most beautiful woman is very misleading and false. Beauty is determined by two sides of the brain that focus on images and thought. Whoever thought of making Aishwarya Rai the world's most beautiful woman is very prejudice.

for some odd reason, while the word "Ganya" was still just a thought-dropping in my head, I thought it'd only be four letters. But apparently it's five. yep.
I've seen all of her. Her FACE is beautiful, but I've seen better bodies. Not to say that she doesn't have an excellent one. Just that i've seen better.
schmiggens said this in post #12 : Is that her real hair in the second picture?
No, but I wouldn't be surprised if she could grow them that long. A lot of women used to have long hair in India. If I remember correctly, that picture is her in a period film.

I have heard a few reviews of Bride and Predjudice that say she's not a very good actor. They all agree she's very pretty but noone seems to have much good to say about her acting ability.
