Juko - the film caters to an audience who have been following the X-Men since the 1960's. It's not for new-comers, hence your disappointment, I'd suppose. If you want a background about why mutants are at a school, perhaps you should check out the FIRST movie again. heh
Cheap effets. After all that hype and this. i guess all the money went to pay Mrs ex jamesbond. i didnt like the movie then again why do i have to complain i watched the movie in the comfort of my home on a gateway 32 inch plasma destanition system. hehe .
What's all this crap about "cheap effects"? I didn't see anything "cheap about it.. I thought the effects were pretty stunning. I'm still "marvelling" about the wall of ice the kid makes in the hallway for them to escape and how it broke into chunks when it was destroyed . The nightcrawler's wispy trails left behind him swirling after he teleports, wolverine and that new sadistic broad's knife blades flinging around in action.. what more do you want..?
okay - I saw the movie Sunday and loved it. Had more of a story and was able to see wolverine really in action.
Plus, the creation of the phoenix (Gene) at the end of the movie.
Stunning effects without sense... not my kind of a movie. In Matrix there was an exact story line, and computer effects were something new, though not expensive.
Well, imnot gonna argue Xmen fans - every person has own taste.
Each to their own - I liked the story better then the first one. I can't wait to see the new Matrix but Return of the King is the movie i want to see the most.
