This movie was absolutely awesome. I haven't seen a funnier movie in years, quite honestly. Steve Martin, who I typically detest, was brilliant, as were Jean Reno and Kevin Klein. The writers and director should get a pat on the back too, for bring back a brilliant old series and managing to make it superior.

I enjoyed it too. I wasn't keen on seeing it, but my sister made me. I was laughing heavily in several parts of the movie. I was also struggling to understand Steve's crazy french accent, which for me was part of the fun.
I wonder how much Jason Statham (from The Transporter) was paid for his "moment of glory" in the film? I gotta say, I love that guy's presence... Even in THIS film...
Kevin Kline had a scene where he said something that had me REELING. I can't remember it exactly, but I think he ended up saying something like, "Dear GOD!", in response to Clouseau after the Inspector said something highly dim-witted. His expression was PERFECT when he said it, and I wasn't expecting it. I fell off my chair.
