When they talk about Area 51 or Wright Patterson AFB they always mention that there is a sign that says "By Order of the Base Commander Use of Deadly Force Authorized Beyond This Point" and the fact that the sign alone tells us that there must be something there or why would they put up the sign.

Well here's a news flash folks. That sign is posted on the fence at EVERY, let me say that again EVERY military installation and it's true. The Military Police or Security Police are authorized to use deadly force against trespassers especially on Air Force Bases. And why is that, it's because military installations have very deadly things located on them like Nuclear (which I can neither confirm or deny) weapons and other bomb and deadly materials.
