Alright, in case this turns out to be true at some point, I don't want you all to blame me. So I've given some potential spoiler space...

I've heard from a few people that indeed everyone did die in the plane crash, and the 'survivors' are actually ghosts. That's the reason for all the wackiness. Sorry if this has been talked about. But if it's true, would anyone be pissed?
yea, seriously, if they were dead, then the story wouldnt make sense, like charlie almost being murdered, and sawyer(sp?) being tortured by Siyed(i have no clue how to spell that!), it just wouldnt make sense.
Life wasnt ment to be easy, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun!
Dom, i love you!!!! 'LOST' ROX!!!
I can't help but believe that the characters' histories play an important part in the series. What things do they have in common? What strengths does each character possess that might help or hinder them on the island? Maybe the answer to what the show's about lies in what's already been revealed to us. I had no patience to see the first few episodes revealing the past of some of the key characters, but now I can see that there might've been something in them that would give some insight as to what the show's secrets could be about.

Seems logical to me.
Each character has done things in their past that messed up.
The plane crashed. They should have all died.
If they died...then it would posit that this is their own private "Hell"
I think that is a good theory as well. Very possible. And I never thought of it until Whidden mentioned it in one of the other threads. I would definelty consider it the unexpected.
May the wind always be at your back and the sun always upon your face, and the winds of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.
