Too bad Ivana got blamed for under-selling chocolate on Wall Street. I think after she found out that Jen and Sandy were selling bars for $5 each...she could have UPPED her price and come up with a better gimmick.
Obviously, the whole team had no real marketing strategy. They thought they could just go to the streets and sell whatever.
She fought hard in the end, but her pact with Kevin kinda of backfired on her. She could have gone after him after Kevin made the decision to sell the bars at $1.00 each (Which was a bad idea, considering profit is what counted)
In the end (and everyone seems to like saying "in the end..."). I have to admit Jen and Sandy's "soft sex" sell, won out over Ivana's hardcore, desperate attempt to boost sales.
It was a hard choice, but because Kelly got immunity...he didn't seem to care as much whether or not his team won. I just get the sense that Kelly seemed a bit put off of the idea and didn't work as hard as he would have if he was PM or if he was at risk to be fired.
They were selling chocolate bars for heaven sakes!
Sandy and Jen wisely used a gimmick( " The M & M Twins") by dressing alike and it paid off. It paid off being blonde against the three stooges trying to hustle the crowd.
Too bad for Ivana! She's right about ONE thing though:
Jen doesn't DESERVE to be in the final four!!
Just my 2 cents.
P.S. I think DT prefers his strippers in the bedroom and not the boardroom.
Thats the one thing that should be remembered during the whole interview process...everything you do, they have to think, would Mr Trump want THIS kind of action if I was president of one of the companies.
Stripping down to your underwear is NOT what he would want.
She lost focus.....and lost period!
AND she may have been right with Jenn not deserving to be in the final four, but as business is...she was lucky and won when a win was needed. Bringing Jenn up while she was being put to task about her actions, is plain childish... she showed her true colours in this episode....

Do you think Ivana knew she was going down, and so she figured she might as well try to take Jen M down with her, plant the seeds of doubt in DT's mind? It was childish indeed, jealousy is one of those seven deadly sins, isn't it?

I think Ivana truly despises Jen. I think she realized DT was not impressed at her actions and decided to keep mentioning Jen's name. After all, nearly EVERYONE has said Jen is a "weak" player, and doesn't contribute enough. Everyone knows she keeps flying under the radar....and perhaps...just perhaps, Trump realizes this and and wants to see how the others deal with Jen. He can't possibly hire her can he? After all, she's only been lucky and not necessarily useful or smart (in a business point of view).
Unless of course Trump is eyeing her for "other" reasons.
I prefer Sandy to be hired or Kevin,...even Kelly!
I don't see Sandy making it. But, it will probably be Kelly vs. Jenn in the final 2, with Kelly winning. I've said all along I believe there is an agenda to have a woman in the finals. Jenn=ratings. Sandy=boring. Kelly is the strongest contender, by far... which isn't saying much with this crop of people.
The whole cast wasnt really strong. Pamela was good, but was saddled leading a bunch of disorganized members...she made HUGE improvements with them and probably helped the remaining members get better as the interview moves along. One bad choice on price I think was the downfall...
Bradford was really stong IMO, but wasnt around long enough to let it shine through. Again, one bad choice was HIS downfall.
Kelly is the strongest of the remaining by far with Sandy/Kevin tied for second and Jenn bringing up the bottom.
I saw the preview for the next episode and it looks like Jenn is called on her abilities in the boardroom...so itll make for a good show.
Only 2 left i think until the finale.... sad to see it go...but it should be out soon on DVD or repeats on CNBC (like the marathon they did for season 1)
1) My point was that this is Hollywood and Mark Burnett Productions, not so much Trump and Wall St. Just want to make sure you understand that we're talking about reality tv, not reality. Of course, viewers can project onto reality tv characters, but let's not lose all perspective.
2) On a marketing level, both Kristi Frank's past and Ivana's flashing help tv ratings.
3) On a moral level, that Kristi Frank has a sex scene on video is a bigger question mark than flashing. http://www.nitrovideo.com/moviedb/r...isti_Frank.html[HECK's warning- link contains nudity... click at your own risk.]
4) On this point:
"We see just about as much on prime time cable."
the corollary would be that we see a lot more than flashing on primetime NBC.

Well, to be honest, she was an actree in a film outside of Trump and Burnett's spehere of influence. Kristi wasn't selling M&M candy bars, wasn't on national TV, and wasn't hired as The Apprentice, either.
And Trump's Apprentice show is NOT teaching real business ethics either. It's nothing but a ratings bananza and making profits for he and Burnett. Anyone who thinks this is reality TV and not scripted is wrong.
The show editors have only put in each week maybe at best 1% of the filmed footages captured by more than 30 cameras running 24/7. Some of last Wednesday recap of the last 12 weekly events showed how many of us were misled on the original series... i.e., that Jen C was in charged of running the restaurant in week #4 where she was on telephone at outside balcony doing her make-up and leaving Ivana back at the restaurant in managing those tasks and what each were doing as expected. Jen C was slacking off and Ivana was the only one keeping the Apex Team afloat.

Probably. Kristi Frank, Apprentice from last season, was a former porn star and had to be fired.
If my memory serves me correct, Trump didn't Fire Kristi last season on the grounds that she stripped, but that she was a bad project manager ,< -- (Click Here) partially on taking the hit for losing the $100 in her back pocket that slipped out or some bad accounting. But more so because they didn't beat out the other team in selling at the flea market and not taking any midcourse action to give the team the winning effort. It was Heidi and Omarosa that went out in the rain to check out how the competition was doing and trying to do something constructive to win. Kristi made a further mistake of getting bad advice (don't defend yourself in boardroom and stay quiet) from Jesse her best friend who sold her down the river in the boardroom.Click Above
When Donald asked Kristi to choose two team members to join her, she chose Heidi and Omarosa. Once everyone left the boardroom, Donald asked Carolyn and Bernie what they thought about Kristi's failure. Carolyn thought maybe Kristi is a good employee, but not a good employer. Donald still thought Kristi had potential, but would he fire her anyway? The three women were called back in for Donald's decision. He told Kristi that he thought she'd been a star up to this point, but he was disappointed that she didn't fight for herself in previous discussions. Kristi was fired!

Burnett and Trump KNEW in advance that Kristi had stripped before hand. They didn't make that an important factor because they selected Kristi anyway. Therefore, it's not the correct reason that Carolyn nor Trump used to fire Ivana as having "stripped" or almost stripped as Trump has suggested. Ivana had on MORE clothes after taking off her skirt than many women who wear less or NONE as underwears.
Trump was put in a very difficult position of eliminating one of or the other. It just happened that both were my best candidates in the running (in the INR pool here.) Kevin was #1 and Ivana #2. That's how the ball bounces, and neither Jen M nor Sandy could beat out Ivana on efforts, ingenuity, merits and talent - four important factors for my selection criteria.
