People who voted for Bush are completely brainwashed. They don't understand that Bush's reputation for being tough on terror is based on image, not reality. Bush lied to the American people about Iraq's WMD and ties to global terrorism and then he had the nerve to say, "Who do you trust?". Those who trust Bush are unbelievably gullible and naive. They believe everything the White House's propaganda machine feeds them.
The war in Iraq was based on blatant lies and the Bush administration still keeps telling blatant lies to the American people. The Bush administration shifts pretexts and as the pretexts shift the propaganda shifts. The original Bush doctrine was that the US has the right to resort to force in self defense against a country that it regards threatening, that has and is developing WMD and has ties to terror. The ties to terror were quietly dropped when it became clear that the invasion has turned Iraq into a center of terror for the first time and has increased global terror as experts expected. What about WMD? The doctrine about WMD has been changed. The current doctrine is that it is enough for a country to have the intent and the ability to develop WMD. It turns out that the Bush administration's concern wasn't WMD, it was the noble vision of bringing democracy to Iraq. Bush is the history's biggest liar since this isn't what he said before the invasion. If he lied before why should we believe him now?
