Wow that's amazing! Honestly I had suspected a result like that would be seen, but didn't know anyone had ever actually done such research. Very interesting!

These IQ’s are calculated from state SAT and ACT scores, adjusted downward about 10 points to get to average.

OMG...Im sorry....where did these people come up with average IQ's for these states? From SAT and ACT scores? So they dont determine IQ from ALL people...just young people's test scores to get into college? ACT test and SAT tests dont determine IQ.....

As an adult...I dont remember taking an IQ test anytime lately and I havent taken an ACT or SAT since high school...I dont know anyone else who has either.

Give me a break!

I cant believe you people would buy into this so easily....it cracks me up!

Taking average scores from tests of young high school/college age kids and averaging them out into the entire state population??

Mystic of course we in Louisiana are an average of 90 IQ How asinine.

These figures come from the subsidized areas of our State.? How idiotic can they get.

Sorry it upsets me when I am dumped into an arena and its supposed to reflect my IQ? Come on folks.!

Thats just it Whid! BUT...If you'll notice a few of the people on here ARE taking it serious.

I just wonder if they chose not to look further into it and see where this info comes from.

It absolutely cracks me up more than anything that people buy into this! I find it more humorous than serious.

I agree with Mystic, too many people on this thread and IR take this kind of thing seriously?

Both of you check your emails.

Isnt that a Bob Seger song? Feel Like a number?

Seriously though...I can live with that fact...but there are some numbers that just dont add up to logic...

This would be one of them...C'mon Sean.. even you have to admit that!

If those stats were true, consider this:

How dumb would the smarter half of the country have to be to make themselves look so bad while such an "obviousely" stupid president was brainwashing everyone else?

Bush is too dumb to form a sentance, but he's got the top job in the country and he is capable of brainwashing over 50 million people at a time.

I can't even train my dog and I've got an I.Q. (last I checked 5 years ago) above the nation's average.

Just sayin...

Please pardon my pseudo-intellectuaphilisophicalismysiticality.
