Spokesperson Alec Baldwin... "I think my exact comment was that if Bush won it would be a good time to leave the
United States..."
1. Are you absolutely outraged that George
W. Bush was re-elected President of the
United States?
2. Have you decided that you just can't
stand living in a country that would
elect such an obvious idiot?
3. Is the thought of four more years
of "W" more than you can stand?

Ha,
This is one of the funniest post's I have seen. Anyone that describes Italy as "leftist" is so dumb, they do not deserve to live. It just sort of sums up the American view of the world. To say "Italy is a leftist country" anywhere that knows anything about this world would be ridiculed. Ever heard of Bernuscoli? He happens to be the leader of Italy. He just happens to be the most right wing, fascist leader since Mussolini, (for you American's out there, he was not leftist!!).
Or, lets talk about the "socialist" UK. In the UK, we have the choice of 2 parties, the ruling Labour party, or the Conservative party. The "socialist" labour party, represents the only major nation to support Bush in his illegal war against Iraq, and the Conservative leader was even more supportive. Tony Blair, along with a number of members of his cabinet, attended a meeting paid for by the CIA, prior to taking government. The reason?? A situation whereby the UK is not a democracy. Whether the UK elect Labour, or Conservative, they will both be stooges to the US. We, therefore, live under a dictatorship which is as far from "socialism" as you could possibly imagine.
But then again, American's do not understand the world. To someone from Ohio, a New Yorker is "foreign". This is the introvert version of the world according to American's. I have seen a report that stated that 80% of American's would not be able to point to Europe on a map.

Ignorant comments about Italy from Americans are no more, but no less than ignorant comments about Americans from Europeans. You, sir, are on no moral high ground to make an inaccurate sweeping statement Americans even if an American makes an inaccurate, sweeping statement about Europeans.

Fabricated, a guarantee it. Goes hand in hand with the general European jokes that most Americans are stupid. I must say though, for being so stupid, we sure blaze trails in an awful lot of technogical and scientific fields..
Attitude is everything. Europeans believe they're smarter and more sophistacted than Americans. In their worlds, they are. American's aren't obsessed with europe, we're busy striving for the future rather than sustaining a way of life, we don't care what european's think. So it's a win-win situation so long as we stay out of eachother's way. Reminds me of highschool.
Please pardon my pseudo-intellectuaphilisophicalismysiticality.
Sean i was chatting wit ha girl from S Dakota lately and asked here where is the capital of Canada. She said - dont laugh now - Manitoba. She also thought its the largest city in Canada.
A poll was posted sometime ago which showed that 49% of americans have no idea where NY is. I mean, ok you guys dont care where is Canada's capital..... But NY is your biggest city! It's one of the world's capitals and 49% of the polled didnt know where it's located. Come on.

Juko...I have to ask...
Were they polling 4 year olds or something? Never have I ever met someone who couldnt point out where NY or any other state was. (not that Im saying its impossible to find those kind of people...but 49%?)
I'd love to see that "poll." Id also like to see the age and individuals to whom they asked these questions.
Got it available?

They didnt give me my results so that I could post them.
It was actually really easy...but I did get one wrong...the stupid religious question. The answer was Christianity...I put Islam.
With Islam being one of the biggest religions in Russia, and in the meddle east...and actually practiced in so many other countries...I guess I thought it was winning out as the bigger religion practiced now..
Oh well, cant get em all right, I guess.
