"Man is a marvelous curiosity ... he thinks he is the Creator's pet ... he even believes the Creator loves him; has a passion for him; sits up nights to admire him; yes and watch over him and keep him out of trouble. He prays to him and thinks He listens. Isn't it a quaint idea." Mark Twain
Me too, Pippin. Well, maybe not EVERYDAY, but with 46 or so still alive, I'm sure that a rotation could be arranged whereby a team goes down everyday, camps out for a night, and gets replaced by the next team the following morning. They could probably build a solid shelter just at the edge of the beach, on the grass, for the team to camp out, while everything else gets co-ordinated from the caves. That way, the majority of the survivors are protected in the cave, while a lookout for passing vessels is maintained. That's probably what my suggestion would be if I was one of them.

Those were my thoughts exactly! The best of both worlds!!
I'd live in the caves. I'm a realist, and I would have realized by the third or fourth day that we weren't going to be rescued. There definitely should be a watcher at the beach, but camp should be in the caves. It just the smart thing to do.
i'd sleep in the caves but go to the beach if it wasnt unbearably hot. i wouldnt be able to sleep on the beach, too open for me, i have to be in a smaller space, but i wouldnt want to be stuck in the caves all the time so i'd spend my days down at the beach. and i'm totally with Sierradaddy on that plan.
Life wasnt ment to be easy, but that doesn't mean it can't be fun!
Dom, i love you!!!! 'LOST' ROX!!!
