This is supposed to be another piccie of Johhny Depp as Wonka. He looks very strange..... I don't know though if it is JD or not. It doesn't look like him at all.

I happen to have the poster in my hands right now. It never ceases to amaze me how many odd characters Johnny has played. Take Pirates of The Carribean for example... he was awesome. Tim Burton is pretty cool so we shall see... I'm interested to see the Oompa Loompas. This is gonna be great, I have a feeling.
I'm reserving judgement until I get to see an actual clip or trailer, or something more than a picture. I have a feeling that the movie will have that certain characteristic eery atmosphere that makes Burton's films so immersive. If nothing else, I'm betting on an interesting PRESENTATION, even if the movie itself is a dud.
I think it'll be interesting to see a non-musical version of the story (as I understand this will be). I'm absolutely sure that Tim Burton will add a fair bit of newness to the story, but he'll probably keep closer to the book than the first movie did. I'm starting to get really excited for this
