Kerry claims Bush could still need a draft post #1  quote:

Today on the campaign trail, Kerry proclaimed that with the current Bush policies in Iraq, that he may still need to impliment the draft.

We all know Bush's comment on this. "No draft, period."
Apparently Kerry has has had a sudden laps of reason.
John Kerry said, " I will add 2 more divisions to the Army and double the size of the Special Forces so we can go directly to the terrorists".

I wonder where he thinks these men and women will come from. Especially because he claims we are already stretched beyond our means and we have to extend the duty of National Guard and Reservists.

Think about this poeple. On one hand he says we don't have enough troops now and then threatens us with a Bush Draft.
Bush basically says it's nonsence and there are plenty of men and women waiting to enlist today. (I know this for a fact also)

For Kerry to add 2 new divisions to the Army and not use NG or Reserves, he will have to either bust the enlistment wide open or apply the Draft.
What he fails to realize is that we only have the capabailty to train and house so many troops and it has been that way for 30 years.
Ok, I imagine this senario. Build more bases, Supply the 2 new divisions with all new weaponry and supplies, house them and feed them. This is great. It goes on. Hire more training troops and support troops.

No draft? If anyone will need a draft, it will be Kerry with his plan, not Bush. In saying that, guess who gets to pay for all this new stuff? How will it get paid for? You got it. "Right into the camera, I WILL NOT RAISE TAXES".

HOG WASH I SAY, HOG WASH!

He's really desperate. If Kerry had a pulse I would expect to see a howard dean any time. But since he only has one volume to his voice I don't think he's capable. Maybe he'll just talk jibberish for awhile. I doubt anyone would notice anyway.

When I heard him say that he wanted to add 2 more divisions..my first thought was EXACTLY what you wrote!!!!

Where is he getting the people to make those divisions?

Does this guy think we just dont listen to him speak at all that we wouldnt question that?

I dont get this guy.

Yeah like we just have extra "special forces" lying around waiting to be called up. They guy tries to walk the tightrope way too much.

I especially like his Iraq policy of "I will speed things up". Um.... don't you think that if it was possible to speed things up it would have been done by now? What, does Kerry have a magic "speed" button that he will push? LOL
