Question 3 was for Senator Kerry
This question was asked to follow up on a comment that Kerry maden in his response to Bush's question where he said the President made “Colossal misjudgments.”
quote:
“Colossal misjudgments.” What colossal misjudgments, in your opinion, has President Bush made in these areas?
From his 2 minutes I was able to get these key points.
quote:
- Failed to build a true alliance
- Should have continued those inspections
- go to war as a last resort
- president moved the troops
|
Here is what was in President Bush's Rebuttal.
quote:
- Kerry looked at the same intelligence and declared in 2002 that Saddam Hussein was a grave threat
- Kerry also said anyone who doubts that the world is safer without Saddam Hussein does not have the judgment to be president
- (Bush) hoped diplomacy would work
- (Bush) understand the serious consequences of committing our troops into harm‘s way
- (Bush) Went to United Nations
- Saddam Hussein had no intention of disarming
- world is safer without Saddam Hussein

Comment:
Bush seems to get out more substance in 90 seconds than Kerry does in 2 minutes once you get to the points.
