Something that always bothered me about this case... post #1  quote:

You know it's interesting how much emphasis was put on trying to keep the accuser's identity a secret in this case. That the media (except for tabloids) only showed her from the back of her head as she was entering court...that they never released her name...that people became outraged when the accuser's identity was accidentally revealed on the courthouse website.
What bothers me about this is, why keep her a secret? If she's allowed to smear the reputation of a celebrity athlete, who is innocent until proven guilty...if the whole world is allowed to know that he's being accused of rape...then why wasn't the whole world allowed to know who was accusing him?
That hardly seems fair in a justice system that allegedly finds someone innocent until evidence proves otherwise. So she was protected, even though she may have been fabricating the entire thing, yet his reputation is nearly ruined. How is that fair?

You're too logical! There is no fairness in the justice system. Claiming "victim" status $$$$ MAKES money $$$$ and get's public sympathy even if they are lying through their teeth. Kate will make multi-millions from own discretion and crying wolf. And millions want to cannonize her as a Saint. I think both Kobe and Kate are what they are... wanting to have sex with each other that night. But it didn't turn out right because Kobe is bigger than his public stature. Love can be painful at times. Then the media spins it out of proportion for ratings. $$$ Kate will make millions.$$$$
