Zig Zag shows the difference between the two parties post #1  quote:

what republican can you imagine speaking at a democrat convention while remaining with the party. conservatives can argue and dsagree but will come together election time. pat buchanun has wrtitten a book critical of his party but Bush still has his vote. the same with john mcain who has a history against conservatives but he was on stage reading his script hugging the president. kerry is the wrong choice for the dems. dean or sharpton would be a better fit because they understand what conservatives will do to win.

Either one of them would be a far better alternative to AWOL Georgie and Deferment Dick. The problem is that Democrats didn't feel that they provided the best chance to expose those phonies, and that Kerry was probably a little better qualified and more experienced.

It wouldn't have mattered a bit, though. As I said elsewhere in this board, they would have found some way (authentic or not) to trash whatever candidate the Democrats nominated. If they couldn't find a way, they would INVENT one! If the Democrats were able to ressurect and nominate Abraham Lincoln, poor Honest Abe would find himself trashed beyond comprehension.

It's a good stategy in the sense that, for the moment, it appears to be fooling a lot of potential voters. It was instilled in four days of "hate and music".

I have faith that the truth will out in plenty of time.

I'm not going to hold Bush's regime responsible if he wins a 2nd term because they are what they are. The people here are spoiled and has been hypnotize by hollywood. This country chooses its presidents on looks and personality rather than substance. Its obvious this president is a joke and what has he done? I'm tired of hearing how he is toough on defense. defeating the taliban? and he has not stop terrorist attacks. i know of only the one in Olkahoma and the 1st trade center attack. that will change now. If he wins again this country deserves everthing it gets. i hope kerry will fight bush to the end and not do the right thing and drop out like gore. don't vote on who runs the better election but look at the facts. if you don't want your kids fighting in Cuba , Syria, N. Korea, iran, Venezuala........ , don't be selfish and vote this dummy out.

I read that the GOP will not fund alan "sell out" keyes. "we're going to put money in campaigns where it will have greatest impact" and "we'll see how it proceeds". Sen. George Allen made these comments at a reception for keyes. conservatives are upset about his support for REPARATIONS and AFFIRMATIVE ACTION and telling the truth about cheney's daughter didn't help him either. They didn't support him for his presidential run in 2000 but he will still let the chicken hawk party use him. No black person should be an republican and stay an republican. they use Powell for the Iraq war but he is considering coming back for a 2nd term? They kick Watts out of the congress but he is trying to recruit blacks to the party. Rice does whatever bush wants. we need a 3rd party but lets get the bush regime out 1st.

The Republicans don't have CBS on the payroll, so we're not able to rely on their second rate forgeries. That's OK, because the truth about John Kerry is enough to get George Bush elected.

Right, and I give you the "fair and balanced" Bill O'Reilly

Be warned! If you are offended by four letter words and cruel epithets for minority groups by foul-mouthed Right-Wing hate mongers (in reproduced hate mail responses), please do not visit this site.

Consider this, everyone. Which is worse? Being a hater or a hater-hater? I'm the latter, and somehow I think I know which one gets into Heaven. I'm not a member of any minority group, so I don't have any personal axe to grind except for what I see all around me.

Again I say "If the shoe fits, wear it!"

I'm going to blame the people if bush gets to extend his Dictatorship and everything these nuts PLAN to do! I trying to understand how this DUMMY can win another election after everything that has happen? I thought the qualifications for being president were high?! President is not a position to learn on the job. I'm new to politics but i can't remember a president sounding so domestic. Walks and speaks like a cowboy? Bush41 and Clinton are from the south but there speaking is polish and presidential. "bad guys", " Your either ... against us", mispronounced words, answering questions... etc. This country has a movie action star who can't speak the english language governing the largest state and a cowboy who is learning on the job Its time to take responsibility.

Why doesn't the media bring this up? where are the questions about death row? Blacks making up 70% of the prison population? Why didn't a Black person ask a question? When is a presidential debate going to held at a " HBCU"? i hope i am alive when one of these questions can be answered.

I would never guess that one.

His stance seems pretty clear to me also...Fox is definietely a republican sided media outlet. I know that specific personnel are told which way to state their views. (thats a fact)...so maybe O'Reilly is an independent, but since he works for Fox, he speaks for the Republican side, because the owner of Fox is probably republican.

All media is pretty much sided one way or the other (excluding true independent outlets).

There are a ton of Dem media outlets too.

There is really no way to trust any media outlet...you kind of have to figure it out on your own for the most part.

The one thing I do sway away from is the shows on TV...sometimes I might watch a few minutes of one...but I prefer a less biased reporting, and thats not gonna happen...its not reality.

Fox has plenty of Liberals on too. Alan Colms, Juan Williams, Ci Ci Connely, Susan Estrich to name a few. And some where I am just not sure which way they go. As far as MSNBC, I don't think they have many Conservatives Pat Buchannan a wanna be republican We don't really claim him though. I would really place Fox on the Moderate side with a slight lean toward Conservative.

And CNN CBS, ABC, NBC and PBS are all together a different story. Put those guys on the side of the Liberals.

Bottom Line is that Liberals have TV, Newpapers and most magazines. Conservatives have Radio and a few Magazines very little newspapers.

There is no liberal media. And let's just say that the media outlets you named were all Democrats, which I don't agree they are, that doesn't make them liberal.

Democrat != liberal

Ever hear of WBAI or Amy Goodman of Democracy Now? If I see those people on television, then I'll believe that there is a liberal media, but there is no liberal media. I don't think anyone really knows what liberal media is.

I'msaying the things you label as liberal are not really liberal, they closer to centrist than liberal.

There is no media station that is just to the left as FOX to the right and that is what is wrong with the media. Bill Moyer show is good but it is not a daily show like oreilly. Comedy is popular because it fills that void of the activist a little. if mceroe could get a show why not SHARPTON or bill press?

Are you living in the same land as everyone else? Apparently not.

Well, Ive read your many posts before Malcolm...you've made many claims that have turned out to be just uneducated guesses...you have a habit of posting without knowing...One could see that with your post about how South Africa didnt have any blacks on their Olympic team...and I found them right off the bat, stopped posted a few of them for you. I think I know more about the South African Olympic team than the South African Olympic team.

I said there wasn't any Blacks on the South African and Zimbabwe swimming teams. Is there one conservative who doesn't spin the facts? Its a fact tha conservatives dominate the time slot from prime to midnight and name me one liberal commentator that is micheal moor-ish. thats why bush has the edge, fox and the other conservative commentators are passionately wrong, while liberals like larry king ask soft questions and will not take sides. sharpton, press, donahue, moore, franken , mayor of san fransisco, ..etc. when mcenroe is cancelled here are so recommendations.

Name of YOUR thread:

S Africa and Zimbabwe should have Blacks on team!

Dont see swimming mentioned here.

YOUR first post:

didn't that seem strange to anyone else?

Dont see swimming mentioned here.

YOUR third post:

Over 20 mill BLACKS and not 1 is able to make the team i know where you stand on affirmitive action now.

Dont see swimming mentioned here.

YOUR 5th post:

Aree you saying no BLACKS were able to earn a spot on the team? please don't imply.

Dont see swimming mentioned here.

YOUR 8th Post

They earn their spot from the chosen few who were given the oportunity to compete for the position. Now answer my question

Dont see swimming mentioned here.

YOUR 9th post:

South Africa has a low GNP? What your saying may be true but 2 nations from Africa sent swimming teams that didn't include any BLACKS and something is wrong with that picture. Is Apartheid Dead? I wondering is the South African President for show?

OH...there it is....you finally got to the point and it only took you from your first post on 8/19 till this one on 8/26...all along leading everyone in there to think you just were talking about blacks in general....I could see your point if you would have posted this in the swimming Olympic threads, but you posted this in the general Olympic area...and it took almost ten days to mention swimming team.

Does it always take you that long to get to the point?

Well, you are a Kerry supporter, and no one can seem to get his points on what his stand in Iraq will be if he gets in the oval office.

Nice try Malcom!

Nader would be a better canidate against bush than kerry. i was 100% sure i was going to SETTLE on kerry but watching Nader on C-SPAN has complicated that. His position on Iraq doesn't confuse the people who were against it. this 2- party system has to be changed. Hip Hop party?

Why is the word liberal such a bad word? I never hear of a candiate being to conservative. The right is never pressured to come to the middle? Compare bush and Clinton and ask youself who deserves to impeachment. common sense is something the american people have lost.
