what republican can you imagine speaking at a democrat convention while remaining with the party. conservatives can argue and dsagree but will come together election time. pat buchanun has wrtitten a book critical of his party but Bush still has his vote. the same with john mcain who has a history against conservatives but he was on stage reading his script hugging the president. kerry is the wrong choice for the dems. dean or sharpton would be a better fit because they understand what conservatives will do to win.

Either one of them would be a far better alternative to AWOL Georgie and Deferment Dick. The problem is that Democrats didn't feel that they provided the best chance to expose those phonies, and that Kerry was probably a little better qualified and more experienced.
It wouldn't have mattered a bit, though. As I said elsewhere in this board, they would have found some way (authentic or not) to trash whatever candidate the Democrats nominated. If they couldn't find a way, they would INVENT one! If the Democrats were able to ressurect and nominate Abraham Lincoln, poor Honest Abe would find himself trashed beyond comprehension.
It's a good stategy in the sense that, for the moment, it appears to be fooling a lot of potential voters. It was instilled in four days of "hate and music".
I have faith that the truth will out in plenty of time.
I'm not going to hold Bush's regime responsible if he wins a 2nd term because they are what they are. The people here are spoiled and has been hypnotize by hollywood. This country chooses its presidents on looks and personality rather than substance. Its obvious this president is a joke and what has he done? I'm tired of hearing how he is toough on defense. defeating the taliban? and he has not stop terrorist attacks. i know of only the one in Olkahoma and the 1st trade center attack. that will change now. If he wins again this country deserves everthing it gets. i hope kerry will fight bush to the end and not do the right thing and drop out like gore. don't vote on who runs the better election but look at the facts. if you don't want your kids fighting in Cuba , Syria, N. Korea, iran, Venezuala........ , don't be selfish and vote this dummy out.

I read that the GOP will not fund alan "sell out" keyes. "we're going to put money in campaigns where it will have greatest impact" and "we'll see how it proceeds". Sen. George Allen made these comments at a reception for keyes. conservatives are upset about his support for REPARATIONS and AFFIRMATIVE ACTION and telling the truth about cheney's daughter didn't help him either. They didn't support him for his presidential run in 2000 but he will still let the chicken hawk party use him. No black person should be an republican and stay an republican. they use Powell for the Iraq war but he is considering coming back for a 2nd term? They kick Watts out of the congress but he is trying to recruit blacks to the party. Rice does whatever bush wants. we need a 3rd party but lets get the bush regime out 1st.

Consider this, everyone. Which is worse? Being a hater or a hater-hater? I'm the latter, and somehow I think I know which one gets into Heaven. I'm not a member of any minority group, so I don't have any personal axe to grind except for what I see all around me.

what about the lower class? one question about Africa out of the 3 debates and cheney didn't have any knowledge about the Black community. Why doesn't the media bring this up? where are the questions about death row? Blacks making up 70% of the prison population? Why didn't a Black person ask a question?When is a presidential debate going to held at a " HBCU"? i hope i am alive when one of these questions can be answered.
