Interesting imagery used by US Military post #1  quote:

I stumbled across these images on the Quantico Marine War fighting Laboratory.

Does anyone know what the green serpent in these images represents? It is shown backing US troops, it is shown apparantly attacking the twin towers and it is shown backing a viking (aereon race?).

It seems a little bit strange that US security is using these images, the conotations could be very powerful.

And another. Which country are these marines attacking, and why are they being helped by the giant serpent?

This conspiracy theory is found in detail here:

As background information, the site hosting this article also indicates in another article that Harry Potter books are secretly and casually conditioning our children to love magic, witches, and to adopt the values and attitudes of the coming "Great One" (i.e. Satan).

It's true. My own child was handed a coloring book from a clerk at a U.S. Post Office once and inside was nothing but U.F.O.'s, Aliens and Humans all hanging out and partying together.. page after page - they're trying to desensitize us all, starting with our youth!

But anyway..

I just read the complete text of the cuttingedge.org conspiracy theory and must say, I think it's pretty weak. I regard the insignia as representing this division of the Marine Corps as being overwhelmingly powerful and deadly to any opposing force. I think the image showing the Serpent near the twin towers shows it defending the city. I think it was modified in order to be more sensitive to the victims of 9/11. I think that whoever designed the logo did poor (or no) research into symbology and such before depicting a beast resembling the Basilisk Serpent.

Of further note:

1) The occultist's explanation of "Magic Symbols" sounds reasonable except that if this thing were really a "Magic Symbol", there would have been no reason modify it after the events of 9/11 since a true "Magic Symbol" would have borne significance to an occultist, but not to the rest of us "vulgars".

2) The resemblance of the Basilisk Serpent (Satan) is.. unfortunate; It is a discredit to the designer, but not definitive evidence that the Marine Corps is in cohoots with the Devil.

3) "Remember the Satanic belief that this planet called Earth is really a living, breathing, and thinking goddess, whom they called Mother Gaia" - I've never heard this associated with Satanism before.. but.. uhh.. ok.

4) This "theory" puts for yet further stupid numerology such as, "Our Masonic forefathers used to meet in one of their favorite watering holes, a tavern called the "Green Dragon", located on 11th Street in Boston! The parallel in this historic fact to the tragedy at the World Trade Center is so heavy it almost staggers the imagination!" - right.. and as I read on the bit about folding the $20 bill showing the towers ablaze and lo & behold: 9/11 = 9 + 11 = 20 (*gasp* the $20 bill! ) and.. wait! 10+10=20 - I have 20 digits on my hands and feet, therefore I must be one of the Masonic Order Occultists backed by Satan, bent on New World Order and Mother Gaia's revenge on over-population and industrialization of the World.

5) More references to the Seal on the $1 dollar bill, "On the bottom row of bricks on the pyramid, you will see Roman Numerals which translates into "1776". Thus, you know that our American Government has been officially committed to the Kingdom of Antichrist since 1776." - This is dizzying logic as well. The 1776 date does not necessarily translate into some higher meaning associated with the Masons. Another thread here (about the seal itself) suggests that 1776 is the founding date of some Illuminati satanic group. Need I point out that the Declaration of Independence for the U.S.A was drafted in 1776? It's one of, if not THE, most significant events in U.S. history - isn't that important enough to justify printing it on our paper currency? After all, being freshly separated from Great Brittain that year, wouldn't a whole new American dollar need to be designed and printed anyhow?

Smile; It confuses people.
