Bjork has admitted she was "taking the piss" when she wore her infamous swan dress to the 2001 Oscars.
The eccentric singer shocked crowds by taking to the red carpet in the outfit and even laying eggs.
She says: "Well, I did bring eggs. Six of them that I left all over the red carpet. Come on, you don't bring eggs unless you want to take the p***, right?
"I was actually amazed at how many people thought I was serious. I didn't mean to cause a riot!
"It was really funny because the security guards would pick them up and run after me with their walkie-talkies saying, 'Excuse me, miss, you dropped this'."
I can't believe she actually had to come out and tell people it was a joke. I remember when I first saw that, I thought it was hilarious. That is just so something that Bjork would do, I mean come on, who else could dress up as a swan at an awards ceremony to take the piss out them? I never knew she actually took eggs and "laid" them, thas even more hilarious!!
I thought it was funny wen Ellen Degeneres took the miky out of her n wore the same dress on stage at an award show, the celebs were in fits laffin, (so was i).
